Our wedding ceremony will be indoors and our reception will be indoor/outdoor weather depending. We expect the temperature to be about 70 during the day, dropping a bit after sunset.
We recommend semi-formal attire - for men this could be a suit, or dress pants and a button down. For women, this may be midi or knee length dresses. We ask that no athletic wear is worn, but otherwise just want everyone to be comfortable!
Unfortunately, our reception venue has limited space and can only accommodate so many people. To invite as many family and friends as possible, we did limit plus-ones. All plus-ones have been directly listed on the invites/RSVP.
Parking for both the ceremony and reception should be very easy - shoutout to small towns! Each site has their own lot just steps away from the ceremony/reception space.
Kids are welcome to attend our wedding weekend, however, please keep in mind that our ceremony will be a traditional Catholic nuptial (wedding) mass, and will last about 1 hour. Also, our reception venue is directly on Lake Michigan and therefore young children should be supervised at all times. Unfortunately, we do not have any plans to provide childcare during the reception at this time.
Our wedding will be celebrated within a Catholic mass, and will include many of the "normal" parts of the mass - including the celebration of Eucharist, or communion. Only practicing Catholics are permitted to receive communion, but everyone is welcome to come forward at this time and receive a blessing. If you would like to receive a blessing, cross your hands over your chest when you come forward.
Please RSVP prior to August 1st! If you have any trouble doing so, feel free to reach out directly to Jeremy or Bridget.
