Columbia Metropolitan Airport

Columbia's airport is obviously the closest and easiest airport to fly into. It is a small airport but easy to get in and out of and not a far drive from downtown Columbia, the A Loft Hotel, and The Lace House.

Charlotte Douglas International Airport

Charlotte airport is also a short two hour drive from downtown Columbia. Charlotte does usually offer cheaper flights, so if you are looking to save a few bucks but still want to come, the flight into Charlotte is easy and not a far drive!

Shuttle

Shuttle from the Aloft Hotel to the Lace House

A shuttle will begin running from the Aloft Hotel to the Lace House at 3:15 p.m. The shuttle will arrive back at 8:30 p.m. to take any guests who forgot their dancing shoes back to the hotel and will run until 10 p.m.

Hotel Trundle

Hotel Trundle is a cute boutique hotel that is located in the heart of the historic district and is a newer addition to downtown Columbia. The designers of the hotel designed it as a love letter to the capitol city and it is located just a short drive from the Lace House and the Aloft Hotel. It can be a little on the pricey side, but if you're looking for an escape from the more modern stay, Hotel Trundle is a beautiful place.

Airbnb offers tons of options in downtown Columbia and surrounding areas. If you're traveling far and considering taking a few days to come down, the amazing Lake Murray is also a short 25 minute drive from downtown Columbia and is something to consider spending time on or near. Airbnb offers lots of lake house options and if you're looking for a quieter escape and more room this may be a good option for you.
