How do I book a room?
Answer
Details on Babington House and our two nearby hotels (The Holcombe and The Talbot Inn) are available on the Travel page. Rooms will be allocated on an RSVP basis -- first come, first serve -- so email us at JeremyAndAnnasWedding@gmail.com with your preferences. Feel free to be specific! For example: • “I’d love to stay on property at Babington -- one of the standard rooms sounds perfect.” • “I’m traveling on a budget, so I’d be happy with the least expensive option at the Holcombe or Talbot.” • “I’m solo but want to ball out! I'm interested in a large suite at Babington and am happy to share with 1–2 cool wedding guests to split the cost!”

Why can't I book a room online?
Answer
Because we’ve reserved all the rooms at Babington House, The Holcombe, and The Talbot Inn for our wedding weekend, which means they’ll show as fully booked online. To request a room, just email us at JeremyAndAnnasWedding@gmail.com with your preferences (see above for examples!) and we’ll do our best to match you with the right spot.

Can I bring my kids?
Answer
We love your children, but this is an adults-only gathering. We hope it gives everyone a chance to relax, celebrate, and maybe even sleep in!

What’s the weather like in Frome in September? What should I pack?
Answer
September in Frome can be a bit unpredictable -- think crisp mornings, mild afternoons, and the occasional shower. Temps typically range from the low 50s to mid 60s°F (10–18°C). We recommend packing layers, a light jacket, and comfortable shoes for walking around the property. If it does rain, no worries -- umbrellas will be available on site.

what if I show up and my clothes are wrinkled?
Answer
Babington House offers laundry, pressing, and dry-cleaning services for guests. You can request steaming or pressing for garments through house reception or housekeeping during your stay.

How Long will Anna and Jeremy be staying at babington house?
Answer
We’ll likely be arriving Monday evening and heading out Saturday afternoon, so feel free to come early or stay longer if you want to extend the hang! We have a full buyout of the property from Wednesday evening through Friday afternoon, which means everyone you see on-site is part of the celebration. If you don’t know them yet -- say hi and make a new friend!

My passport is close to expiring -- can I still travel to the UK for the wedding?
Answer
The UK requires your passport to be valid for the entire duration of your stay. However, we STRONGLY recommend renewing it if it’s set to expire within 6 months of your travel date. Some connecting countries have stricter rules, and renewing early ensures you won't be turned away at the airport.

What if I need to get around the countryside?
Answer
**NOTE: UBER and LYFT DO NOT SERVICE THIS AREA** For arrivals, no stress -- taxis are readily available at the Bath Rail Station or Bristol Airport when you arrive. For any other travel in the area, including your DEPARTURE, we recommend booking your travel in advance. This includes: *Friday 9/19 return trip from Babington House to Bath Spa Station or Bristol Airport *Wednesday 9/17 travel to Babington for the BBQ Welcome Dinner (only if you aren't staying on-site at Babington) *Day trips to nearby areas NOTE: Thursday 9/18 taxis from off-site inns (Talbot & Holcombe) to Babington will be provided complimentary There are several taxi companies in the area surrounding Babington.
