As fate would have it, all good things come to those who wait. Allison & Jeremy’s story is no exception. Initially seeming to be nothing more than a friendship built on a mutual appreciation of cheap beer and good friends, Allison & Jeremy spent much of their collegiate career side by side. Though mutual friends introduced them, Loose Change and $5 Yuengling pitchers quickly created the cornerstones of even stronger ties. As those same friends watched a bond form, it did not come without speculation that there could be more what was seen at face value. Fortunately for those of you reading this, it was at the wrong place, at the wrong time. After college, contact faded with the friendship; new cities meant new lives, but what was once important is rarely forgotten. In the interest of keeping you readers entertained, Jeremy reached out to Allison in the summer of 2019 while visiting family. What was intended to be drinks with an old friend proved to be the right place at the right time. That night, the now couple proved their skeptics right. It was not long after this rekindling that Jeremy joined Allison in Charleston. Here, along with friends, family, and loved ones, is where they will tell you their story truly began. Charleston is home to them because it is where they found love. From hurricane parties downtown to slip and slides in their first home, these two didn’t skip a beat. Learning to support each other in ways that only one another could, they found a new meaning to partnership. This kind of bond stretched much further than weekly beer and wing dates. As all good love stories go, this one took a turn. Recently, Allison and Jeremy have embarked on new adventures, creating new memories and friendships in Richmond, VA. Normally this kind of transition could bring turbulence to a relationship. Fortunately for them, the opposite was true. This new life was the last hurdle either of them would face alone as it was quickly followed by the most important decision Jeremy would make in his life. So on May 20th. 2023, Jeremy was joined by their closest friends amongst the rooftops of New York City, and committed himself to Allison for life. February 24th will be a day as special to our happy couple as any, in the place they’ll always consider home. They invite you to join them in a celebration as both the individuals you know them to be, but also the life partners that you will watch them become. Celebrate that their love is one that has stood the test of time, but is timeless. Celebrate that their partnership is solid, yet boundless.
