Where It All Began

The exact "when" is fuzzy (because college), but the "where" is crystal clear! Our friendship began at our KU freshman year dorm where we hung out with the same group of friends. While it took completing all four years of college to realize we had a special spark, we took the leap on 5/28/16 and went on our first date after graduating. From there, it didn't take long until Jeremy graduated from the title of "Boy Friend" to "Boyfriend" and then again to "Dog Dad" and finally "Fiancé" on 8/6/21!

Allie and Jeremy have taken up golf over the last year and while Jeremy's skills far surpass Allie's, it's still one of their favorite things to do together. Knowing Allie's skills are not up to par (pun intended) with anyone else's on the course, what better way to make the proposal a sure surprise than to tell Allie they'd be going to take a golf lesson? After a "cancelled" lesson and Allie agreeing to play on their own, Jeremy ultimately proposed at the sixth hole with a custom golf ball sporting their picture and the magic words, "Marry Me?" Once she finally got past the shock and excitement of Jer popping the question, Allie finally said yes and they went on to celebrate with family and friends all weekend! We know, pretty cute isn't it?
