We're getting Married!

Jeremy and Elena met as juniors in college as a blind date to Jeremy's fraternity formal. A month before he was supposed to go to Vegas, Jeremy still had no idea who to bring with him. A mutual friend showed him Elena's very best Instagram picture and it was an immediate yes! Fast forward to a month later, the pair spent the weekend talking and laughing about everything under the sun. The conversation was easy and they both felt an instant spark! After the weekend ended, Elena sent a text to Jeremy thanking him for the weekend, he followed up with a paragraph saying what a wonderful time he had. Shortly after, they planned their official first date and the rest is history!

Jeremy proposed on 07/29/2022 on Leo Carillo State beach in Malibu, California. After months of anticipation and weeks of planning, Jeremy had the perfect beach proposal planned! Jeremy had the ring hidden in his backpack for weeks leading up to the big day and the last step was to make sure he secured the perfect spot on the sand. He spent almost six hours on the beach that day claiming his spot and after many trips to the car, a beach picnic was ready to be enjoyed. Lastly, Elena had dinner plans with her best friend Laura, Laura ended up instead driving Elena to the beach to meet with Jeremy. After a few stops and some little white lies about the location of their reservations, Laura brought Elena to the top of the stairs where Jeremy was waiting. A long walk down the stairs led them to the picnic blanket where after a brief moment together Jeremy bent down on one knee for the big moment. That night, after many many... many pictures they both enjoyed some champagne relaxing on the beach telling friends and family of their big news!
