Where is the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be held at Pine Acres Retreat at 3963 Bartow Carver Rd SE, Acworth, GA 30102. Please check out the “schedule” and “travel” section!

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Please refer to your invitation — if a plus one is included, their name or “and guest” will be listed. We wish we could invite everyone, but we’re keeping things a bit intimate!

Are kids welcome?

We love your little ones, but we’re keeping this an adults-only celebration. We hope you’ll understand and enjoy a fun night out with us!

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outside at Taylor’s Point weather permitting. We’ll have a backup plan just in case! The reception will follow inside at Mariner’s Lodge.

What’s the dress code?

Answer

Dressy casual! Think sundresses, nice slacks, button-downs, or whatever makes you feel good and wedding-ready (just leave the jeans and flip-flops at home). Octobers in Georgia can be warm and since the ceremony is outside, we want you to be comfortable! Those who'd like to wear a dress can wear sundresses, lightweight separates. Alternatively, guests can wear a light dress shirt with khakis or other lightweight slacks. Jackets and ties are optional.

What kind of food and drinks will be served?

Answer

We’re excited to be serving a build-your-own taco and fajita bar from Moe’s Southwest Grill! Expect plenty of fresh toppings, chips and queso (of course), and options for everyone — including vegetarian and gluten-free. We’ll also have an open bar with beer, wine, and a couple of fun signature cocktails.
