Over 25 years ago, our paths crossed for the first time, but life had other plans for us then. The connection was there, but the timing simply was not right. Sometimes love isn't about finding the right person immediately, it's about finding them at the right time. Years later, fate quietly stepped back in. We connected on Facebook Dating, almost unexpectedly. Before I could truly figure out where things might go, he deleted his profile. Just like that, it seemed like another missed chance. But what was meant for us refused to slip away so easily. Out of all places in the world, fate placed him at my daughter's job. A random moment to anyone else, but to us, it felt like life giving is another opportunity - a second chapter we didn't know we needed. This time was different. We were different. What started as a reconnection slowly became something undeniable. Through conversations, laughter, comfort, and understanding, we discovered that maybe our story was never meant to happen years ago. Maybe it needed time, growth, and life experience to become what it is now. Sometimes love doesn't arrive when you want it to. Sometimes it arrives exactly when you're ready for it. And somehow, after 20 plus years, all the missed moments, and all the unexpected turns, we found our way back to each other.
