Breanna is the most big hearted person I know. To know her, is to love her! We met via FaceTime through mutuals during college & it was by the grace of God that we became sisters. My best memories from college is taking a trip to her home city, New Orleans, sharing closets, her teaching me about makeup, and us doing what we do best, laughing & dancing. We confided in one another, argued like sisters, shared creative ideas & most importantly, created a true sisterhood through God. She’s the Godmother to my child & I couldn’t imagine it being any different. To my TwerkSumShayla, I can never thank you enough for your love, sisterhood & the word of God you’ve always shared with me to get me through the toughest times, I love you immensely & I’m overjoyed to have you as my matron of honor!

We met in college through his roommate Yoseph. We soon became good friends after a conversation over music playlist. Our friendship continued to grow through Rush as we chose different fraternities in order to go to twice the parties. Good times these were. We then traveled to Puerto Rico with a group of friends. The experience had on the island was, to say the least, amazing. Brandon has always been a funny, cool guy. Which is why we click the way we do. Much appreciation for being there on my big day boi.

Our sisterhood is God ordained. We met through a situation that was quite unfortunate during college but God knew, it would turn into something beautiful for us. Tayla has always been a nurturer & so genuine. My best memories of us at MSU would be doing homework with one another, doing roller-wraps on her hair, and supporting each other through every high & every low. Every trial & tribulation we faced, prepared us for something so immaculate. She’s the God mother to my child & without a shadow of a doubt, spoils Rowan rotten, which I can’t thank you enough. I’ll never forget the night I met Aaliyah’s brother Aj. It was in Tuscaloosa, where Aaliyah took me to meet her family for the first time. “You sure know how to pick them” (Aj). Where do I even start? Brianna has been in my life since birth. We grew up in the same church & I always looked up to her. My best memories are: church conventions in Selma, AL, her moving me into my college dorm & most importantly, the helpful advice to becoming/being a great mom! Bree, I can never repay you for how much you’ve been a positive force in my life. You’re the sweetest person I know & I couldn’t imagine you not standing beside me as my maid of honor. I met Kristyn on the 1st day of 6th grade at Echols Middle School & every since that day, she’s made it known she’s a force to be reckoned with. She assisted me with unlocking my locker. At that moment, we became the best of friends. We were scholastic achievers together, we looked out for one another, we had our own lingo that only we could understand, we joined clubs/organizations together etc. She is the first person that my mom allowed me to have a sleepover with. If you know Kristyn’s family, then you know they are nurturers & will do any & everything for the people they love. I’m very honored to have this girl standing beside me for my big day because she was the 1st example I had as a good friend that turned into family. I love you, Kris!!

One of my coast bois; Alex and I met through Turner and his younger brother Allan whom I played basketball with in high school. We got right pretty fast with our constant freestyle battles between he, Turner and I. We also spent a great deal of time hooping at MLK. This boi is a hooper person. We met at a fashion show tryout by complimenting each other... #blackgirlmagic. The following day, we hung out & laughed at each other’s ‘model walk.’ From that day on, we’ve been sisters. KeA taught me the ropes of college & introduced me to some really great people. During my freshman year, I probably slept at her apartment more than my dorm. I was nervous about making friends & God blessed me with my very 1st college friend that will be here for a lifetime! . I’ve been blessed to be her babies God mother, one of my most rewarding titles. This man right here is the human embodiment of uniqueness. Turner and I met in high school; Mrs. Brady’s art class. We started hooping together at the park after school, which is where our friendship manifested. Turner is one of the most honest people I have ever met. He has always kept it 100% with genuine intentions. We’ve had an abundance of fun times. Memories I’ll never take for granted. When you see him, ask him about the story of the mini coop and the dead deer. Turner you’re my boy man, thank you for being a true friend, and thank you for being here on one of the biggest days of my life.

Zorian was my 1st friend during the 10th grade when I transferred to Hillcrest High. To know Zoe, is to know that she is the absolute sweetest person ever. I don’t even think she knows how to raise her voice; she’s that soft spoken & nice! Zoe showed me the ropes & soon introduced me to some of her friends. She helped me get inducted into a HS organization that changed my life for the better (shoutout to AOK)! Zorian, thank you for all the fun we shared during HS...picking me up for practice, community service, supporting me & for being here on my big day. Hayden the man with the hands. Hayden and I met in high school. We quickly became friends through mutual friends of ours. Soon we found out we were neighbors, which allowed us to hang out more often. Hayden is real deal squad bodyguard. He may be thin, but looks can be deceiving. I remember all the parties where the bois gathered round and put the gloves on. Man we would go at it, just throwing the fair ones. Hayden you’re one of the most nice guys I’ve ever met. A radiating personality that you just always want to be around. Kourtney & I can never solidify when we officially met but we’ve been knowing each other in passing since we were around 7 years old. Our friendship developed when we both started our first high school job at zoës kitchen. We became the best of friends. My best memories from high school are sitting outside of work & talking for hours, Krispy Kreme dates, and ‘parking lot pimping’ which is people watching like old people at the mall. Years went by & we both received offer letters to MSU and decided to be roommates! We had the BEST time at state & were legit attached at the hip. She’s been my shoulder to cry on, voice of reasoning & treasure box full of secrets through good & bad. I’m so honored to have you standing with me on my wedding day, Koko! Ethan and I go wayyyyy back. This is a true child hood friend. We’ve played on teams together, and spent quite a bit of time just playing ball around the neighborhood. I remember when we used to stay up all night at his place and talk to randoms on omeagle. The days for certain. Ethan’s parents were like my own, I’ll never forget how kind and sweet they have always been. I always remember the good times Ethan and I had over the years. Like Kristyn, I met Rakira in middle school. We literally go back like 4 flats. My favorite memories is when we had PE class together. We would put our money together & buy snacks together, have our own language, attend school games together & my favorite, try to rap!
