It was a plan put together by mutual friends that turned out to be a blessing from Jehovah. Jerard and Brittany met at the Kingdom Hall in Bolingbrook, IL. Their first date was that same night at a pizza place called Home Run Inn. It was very comfortable and the conversation and company was very relaxed. It felt like they were old friends already. Distance and busy schedules got in the way initially, but they never stopped thinking about each other. Over 6 months passed until they finally got back in contact. Jerard and Brittany officially started dating in July of 2018. Distance was still a challenge, but they made time for each other. They are so happy that they did and they are happy that you can join them on this special day!

Brittany thought that the brunch at their friends' house had been thrown together spontaneously the night before. She also thought that she was simply walking downstairs to check out a remodeling project in the basement. But when she turned the corner, she saw a path of red rose petals beneath a lighted archway, leading to a small table with a book and a box. Jerard told her to read the book for instructions. In a daze and trying to catch her breath, she picked up the book and started reading- "True Love: The Story of Us." She liked the story, especially the ending..."Brittany, will you marry me? (Open the box)" She did, he got down on one knee, and she said yes!!! (And yes, there is a video!)
