For those of you traveling and flying from out of state, the closest airports are Hartford (Bradley) or Providence (TF Green). Hartford is one hour from Mystic while Providence is 45 minutes.

The Amtrak goes right to downtown Mystic from Penn station. There are many places to stay that are in walking distance from the station. There are also ample ride shares to get around.

Although there are many cute towns by our wedding venue, we chose Jeremys hometown of Mystic as our base for the weekend due to its quintessential New England charm, fabulous shops and restaurants and ample hotel options. To make the most of the weekend and to ensure you get to experience the charm of Mystic in its autumn glory, we encourage you to plan to stay for the entire weekend. Mystic is extremely popular especially in the fall so many hotels are booking up quickly due to the high demand. With that; we encourage you to reserve your rooms/airbnbs as soon as possible. Although these are our recommendations, we encourage you to stay where your hearts and wallets feel is appropriate. We recommend searching Hotels.com or Booking.com first to find some discounted rates before going directly with the room block. Sometimes these are cheaper. If you don't care about staying in Mystic and plan to drive yourself, there are a lot more hotel options that are cheaper and slightly closer to the venue in Groton, New London, Waterford and Uncasville (mohegan sun anyone??)

Shuttle From Hilton Mystic to Ceremony

To make things as seamless as possible on our wedding day, we’re providing a shuttle service to and from the venue. We kindly ask that you RSVP for this service when RSVPing for the wedding as space may be limited. Please note that the shuttle schedule will have set pick-up and drop-off times, so your ability to leave the celebration early may be restricted. For those wanting to leave on your own accord, we encourage your drive yourself to the venue as there will be ample parking there. If you plan to use the shuttle, we highly recommend staying at the Hilton Mystic as that is where the shuttle pick up will be. Another option is the Holiday Inn Express which is a short 6 minute walk away. More info to come.

Hilton Mystic

This is our main hotel block for the wedding and where the shuttle bus will pick up guests! This hotel is in prime Mystic territory- walking distance to the aquarium as well as Olde Mistic Village. Lots to do, see and eat right around the hotel. We have a discounted room block ($299 a night) here for those of you staying Friday-Sunday. You can book to stay just Saturday but you won't get the discounted rate. An Important Note For Those Arriving on Saturday: Check in per the hotel policy is 4PM (we have tried to get this changed!) In order to get a room before this time, please call the hotel for an early check in request the morning of the wedding after 11am. - They will do their best to accommodate all requests based on room availability. - If they are unable to provide your room before 4PM, there are private bathrooms near the elevators (ask at front desk) where guests can freshen up and change before the buses arrive at 3:30. - You can then leave your suitcases with the front desk who will move them into a private room during the wedding. - Hopefully all guests can check in before the wedding, just make sure to call ahead!

Holiday Inn Express Mystic - Groton Area, an IHG Hotel

This is another great option and slightly cheaper than the Hilton. It is also a quick stroll to the aquarium and old mystic village. Rooms start at $260 a night. This is also a quick 6 minute walk to the Hilton Mystic where the shuttle bus will pick up guests. *All rooms have a pull out couch as well. An Important Note For Those Arriving on Saturday: Check in per the hotel is 4PM. In order to get a room before this time, please call the hotel for an early check in request the morning of the wedding after 11am.

An affordable, clean, modern hotel within a 10 minute drive of downtown and a 3 minute drive to Olde Mistic Village and the aquarium. We have a small room block at $259 a night. Use the link above or call and them the Klepper Christian wedding. Breakfast is included! Note- this hotel is a 4 minute drive or a 15 minute walk from where the shuttle will be picking up guests. If you plan to use the shuttle you will have to get yourself to the Hilton for pick up. If you feel like splurging while you’re in New England and want to get a full Mystic experience, stay in this iconic set of hotels! Whalers is located right in downtown Mystic along the main street with the iconic shops and drawbridge. It is the ideal location. Rooms are on the pricier side and with the room block start at $420 a night. *Please note- this hotel is not in walking distance of the shuttle to the venue. If staying here you would have to arrange your own transportation to the venue or to the Hilton for shuttle pick up.

Our family friends, The Scolas, run this charming bed and breakfast. It is about 45 minutes from the venue and about a 20 minute drive into the town of Mystic. We recommend this if: If you don't plan to take the shuttle to the wedding and you want a lovely place to stay that is tucked away from the Mystic tourists.
