We're are getting married!

Love is not easy to find, but sometimes, when you least expect it, it finds you. We need to go back to our long forgotten corona times, where governments shot down countries, limited all social interaction and we were bound to stay at home for an unknown time. This all happened when Majbritt was living in Quito, Ecuador, and just the day before the country closed down, she managed to pack her bags and take the last cab available to Ibarra, to spend the lock down with her family. It is limited what you can do during a lock down, and dating was far down in the list of things to do during these times. Nevertheless, Majbritt has a very persistent mother that convinced her to reopen her Tinder account and well, if nothing came up, at least she had killed some hours. One weekend, Majbritt's family decides to spend some days in the grandparents farm far away in the countryside, with limited to no internet. There Majbritt found a small spot outside, where the connection sometimes was working. She connected to Tinder, and was happy to find that, due to corona, Tinder had removed all distance restrictions in the app, so you could match with people anywhere in the world. Her mind went straight to Copenhagen, Denmark. Denmark is beautiful, the men are tall and the capital must have way more to offer than any other city. And she was right. The market was interesting and entertaining. What she did not expect was that one match would change her life forever. Majbritt and Jeppe made a match in the spring of 2020 and started talking daily from that day on. It was the kind of connection that gives you butterflies and keeps you awake at night wondering if this could really be it. Majbritt thought, it could either be a summer flirt or she could dare to persuade this out-of-the-blue connection that felt so right and so real. After giving it some thought, she booked a flight to Copenhagen and sent the ticket information to Jeppe. When Majbritt told her mother, Aida, about it, she was so happy for her, that Aida forgot about all the risks involved in flying out alone to meet some stranger she had just met over a dating app on the other side of the world. Jeppe was also quite excited about meeting this South American girl, with a very Danish name, but who only spoke English to him. No one knows why, by the way. Could she even speak Danish and what was her actual relation to Denmark? What was her plan if she didn’t like him? He was careful not to put his hopes too high up, because what were the chances of this girl taking a flight from Ecuador to Denmark and what were the chances that they would have that magic connection.. Well, on the 20th of August 2020, Jeppe drove to Copenhagen Airport to pick up this girl, who arrived with two big suitcases and a big backpack on her shoulders. Neither Jeppe or Majbritt didn’t think that they would live together under the same roof from the very first day they met, but the rest, my dear friends, you can guess how it went. Let me just put it this way; it has not been boring. On the contrary, they found a life partner with whom they could embark on adventure, travels, projects and create a life that is far from the ordinary. Cheers for love - when you least expect it.
