Just a reminder that passports are required for international travel so please make sure to pack your passports! Some countries have a 6 month requirement in which your passport cannot be expiring within 6 months of your departure date so please also make sure they are up to date. As of now, the only requirement is to fill out an embarkation form online. The ED card can be filled out up to 7 days prior to arrival and can be found here: https://edcardaruba.aw/Application/StepOneNonResident There are no COVID testing requirements. You may purchase an optional visitor insurance policy offered by Aruba. Check the updated travel requirements on this website: https://www.visitaruba.com/traveling-to-aruba/entry-requirements-and-visas/aruba-travel-restrictions-covid-19/
The airport is about 10 minutes away from the Renaissance Hotel. Cabs are about a $20 flat fee (It doesn't matter how many people).
In case you would like to enjoy the night child-free, the resort uses a baby-sitting service: more information on this can be obtained from the resort navigator's desk.
All family, friends, and guests may submit song requests with the following link: https://bookings.ruuben.wedding/requests.asp?djidnumber=22360&month=8&day=25&year=2023&password=rfwqn9t Song requests may be made up until 8/20/2023 and of course requests can still be made at the reception!
Although there is an all-inclusive option at the resort, Aruba has so many great restaurants within walking distance of the resort so we did not opt for the all-inclusive package. Let us know if you'd like some recs on great places to eat!
Yes, our room block includes rooms with resort views, ocean views, or family-friendly suites. We will add the information to our travel tab once room blocks are finalized.
We understand that travel is very expensive so we do not expect any gifts. Your journey to celebrate with us is enough of a gift!
Our dress code for the wedding is beach cocktail. Below is the best description I could find from another wedding website: "Beach cocktail attire is semi-formal beach wedding attire. Typically, men's ties are optional, but still welcome. If you're shopping for menswear, start with a classic long-sleeve button-down and dressy pants; then, add a colorful blazer or patterned sport coat for festivity. Appropriate footwear includes nice loafers and on-theme boat shoes. Women can wear a semi-formal dress, like a maxi or midi, as well as a jumpsuit or dressy separates. A beach cocktail dress code gives you the flexibility to choose a vibrant color or bold print. Finish your outfit with a low heel, wedge or dressy flats. Beachy accessories, like a raffia clutch, are also acceptable."
