We're so excited to celebrate with you on August 6th!

Dear friends and family, This year has definitely been a whirlwind and with COVID-19 in mind, we have made the difficult decision to postpone our wedding to August 6th, 2021. In lighter news, we have decided to get legally married on our original wedding date, August 2nd. We will be having a small intimate ceremony with friends and family where we can make our vows to each other and say "I do!". We are so excited to finally get married but we didn't want COVID to stop us from this next chapter of our lives. It is still very important to us to have a big wedding day and celebrate with everyone we love but because safety is so important to us and we would still love to celebrate with you when it is completely safe to do so - thus we are pushing our new wedding date to next summer! L - We probably met while we were awkward middle schoolers navigating through life but we probably didn't officially meet, talk, or become friends until our last year in high school when we had our first classes together. It wasn't until those classes that we got to know each other better, I was able to really learn who Matt was (past his white t-shirts and Jordan shorts haha!) and discovered how kind, generous, and fun he was! I kind of fell in love with him pretty early and I really think God did all of this on purpose because we could have became friends earlier in our lives but it wasn't until both of us were ready to truly meet each other that our beautiful relationship formed. Since December 17th, 2013 on the Ballinger dock when Matt asked me to be his girlfriend started it all and since then, we have continued to grow together and as individuals, uplift each other, make light out of all situations together, and become ultimate besties! Thank GOD for our relationship and what is to come for us! We feel so blessed every single day for the people in our lives and cannot wait to start this amazing journey of marriage together forevaaa! M - Lili and I met in middle school but we weren’t really friends. We had many of the the same friends but somehow we never talked to each other. We were even in the same 8th grade dance group and didn’t even know that until we saw a picture years later. We would do the occasional “hi” when we saw each other and that was our friendship all the way until senior year in high school! Looking back, I’m glad we were never friends growing up because we probably wouldn’t be together now. Lili made the first move, yes, I know - but I’m glad she did because all from that, I get to marry my best friend in the entire world! I could not be any happier. She is the most selfless, kindest, funniest, and caring person in the world! I will love her forever!
