our wedding

Ben and I's story is one that came out of one of the scariest and most unsure times of our lives. With so much uncertainty in the world, we were both searching for someone to love us through it. We met on tinder, but not in the classic hookup kind of way. Ben, if you don't know, is easily one of the shyest, most respectful guys out there. We were basically just friends for the first month of talking, we bonded over the German language, which neither of us speaks and we built a friendship first. From that blossomed a very loving but also complicated situation. We have facetimed for countless hours, and got to know each others families as best as we could without actually seeing eachother. We both worked really hard to save money and to get our passports, vaccines, everything necessary to see each other. With some help from our amazing families, we made it happen. We spent two amazing weeks together in Newcastle, England. At the end of the two weeks, Ben took me to Scotland and we had the most beautiful trip, and on the last day, he took me to the Edinburgh Botanical gardens and proposed. He hired a photographer, and made it a magical but also funny experience. He walked me around the botanical gardens twice, by that time I already spotted the photographer and grew suspicious! Despite the blisters my heels gave me, walking barefoot through the streets of Edinburgh with the love of my life, is not a forgettable experience! Now we are here, planning our wedding(s) to share with all of you, and planning for me to move to England and finally we will get to be together. We want to get a little house, and live with our fur babies, travel, and at some point down the road start a family. We are so grateful for all the support we have gotten, and appreciate all of it going forward. WE will make this last a lifetime.
