Tate is my little brother, has been my best friend since he was born when I was a year old, and now he’s my best man. Tate usually buys the same clothes as me just in a different color, hopefully he has the same color on March 3rd!! Tate has had my back for 27 years, I can’t wait for him to be by my side when I marry Sierra, and to be an amazing uncle to Isla!

Kemmdawg and I met at a baseball tournament in the summer of 2012 during our senior year of summer ball. We were playing against each other, I was playing first base, and at some point he got to first base. When he gets to the base he eventually says, “hey you’re going to Edmonds next year too, right?” And I remember thinking, “who the hell is this guy?” Little did I know then, he would become one of my best friends at Edmonds CC and still to this day.

Austin and I became quick friends through high school baseball and tailgating high school football games with Patrick. Austin would come with me to a baseball facility in Kirkland at 10 PM several nights a week to throw me batting practice because I wanted to get some extra swings…he also had to get up and work the next morning. Can’t thank him enough for helping me. He and his wife, Bri, are expecting their daughter to be born on March 6th, so we hope they are able to make it, but obviously understand if they can’t because someone wants to say hi a couple days early! 😉

Justin has also been one of my closest friends since early elementary school sports. Traveling to California to watch me play before leaving for his mission for two years, and getting the guys together to hang out, he’s truly a “glue guy” and best friend.

Kris has been one of my longest friendships all the way back to 6 year old hockey. Unfortunately he has a trip planned to Mexico and will be on the beach with a bucket of beer, so won’t be able to make the ceremony. But, he’s been there by my side through everything, and I know he will continue to be, so he’ll be there with us in spirit!

Legend has it, my Aunt, Debbie, who was a kindergarten teacher, called my mom after the first day of school to share one of her students that year is going to be my best friend. Well, I’m not sure how she knew this in 2000, but she was right. And over the years of being teammates in all sports, and playing against each other thru college baseball we’ve only become better friends!

TC and I met at Edmonds CC where we were teammates and then took on the big life experience of transferring to play at Santa Clara University and moving to California together. I’ve leaned on TC for advice over the years and know I will still be leaning on the father of three daughters for help when Isla gets here in the early summer!

Torin and I played sports with and against each other since elementary school, and we’re teammates at Edmonds CC where we won NWAACC championship together. Torin, and his wife Abby, welcomed me into their home, I was over at their house so much i was basically their roommate, and all they asked for in return were Crumbl Cookies. Ask Torin about the longest single he ever gave up.
