Why Mexico?

Some have asked us why wanted to do Mexico. We have a few different reasons: - turning our wedding into a vacation - lower stress - the beach - less traditional

What if I can't come?

Answer

We completely understand if this event doesn't work for you for whatever reason. We know it is a big ask for you to join us and that it isn't always in the cards to be able to go. If you already know you are unable to make it, please RSVP. For those of you who cannot make it or if you want to spend some extra time with us, we will be having an Open House "pre wedding celebration" on Saturday, September 6, 2025 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. Invitation will be sent in June.

What hotel do I stay at?

Answer

We will be staying at Hard Rock Vallarta in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. We have a link that you will be able to book a room block with (under the travel section) however you don't have to book with our link. Our link guarantees a room (not a flight) and holds the hotel's lowest price/guarantees a room. The price is for two guests for room & all-inclusive amenities. We understand that you might find hotel + flight bundles elsewhere, and that is okay. (We suggest you book that sooner than later to ensure a room! ;) )

Do I have to stay at your hotel?

Answer

You are free to do whatever you want! Obviously, we would love to see you at our hotel to be able to hang out with us, but we understand that cheaper hotels/timeshares/Airbnb's might be more accessible for you. However, if you are not staying at our hotel, the hotel will require you to pay a fee $150 to attend our wedding. This is due to the fact that it is a resort and can't have people who are not guests of the hotel wandering around.

When are we flying in/out?

Answer

We are flying in earlier; most people are flying in on Wednesday, November 5th. We will be flying out on Monday, November 10th. You are welcome to leave that day as well or extend your vacation. PSA: Hunt around for your flights. I have found flights from SEA to PVR cheaper than the return flight. We will be switching airlines for the way home.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Yes, you can definitely bring a plus one! Since it's at an all-inclusive hotel, feel free to bring someone along. We kindly ask that you give us a heads up, so we can plan accordingly.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Wear whatever you feel most comfortable in! However, if you are staying at the hotel, know that some restaurants require men to wear pants and closed toed shoes.

Do I bring a gift?

Answer

NO!!! Please do not bring us anything and understand that the gift of your presence is all we want!

There are no more rooms left for your room block, now what?

Answer

We were unsure how many rooms were needed and how many rooms to block off. If you need to book a room and there’s none left, please reach out to us and we can reach out to the hotel to hopefully be able to open up some more rooms for your stay.

Passport Reminder!

Answer

You cannot fly if your passport is within 6 months of expiring! Check your passport :)
