As we all adapt to an uncertain time with COVID-19, we are monitoring the situation carefully. We are prepared to take every precaution necessary to make our wedding safe for our guests, even if that means postponing it. Our wedding is happening as planned, and we look forward to celebrating with you all on November 7, 2020! At this point, we've been advised that a November wedding should be safe. Please RSVP and book your accommodations as you normally would, but check first for a lenient cancellation policy, which most hotels and airlines are happy to provide in light of current events. That being said, the safety of our guests is our utmost priority. Please check our website and national and local public health websites regularly for updates. Please contact us directly with any questions - our contact information is below. Thank you for your love, patience, and concern. austin.kala.jensen@gmail.com
The Garden is following guidance from the CDC and the Arizona Department of Health Services so that we can take care of each other as we gather and celebrate safely. The Garden is advising their staff and visitors to stay home if they are showing symptoms or signs of COVID-19 or if they have tested positive. They have implemented training for all staff on proper hand washing procedures and usage of face coverings and gloves. The Garden has implemented a one-way enter and exit route, designed to promote physical distancing. The Garden has reduced overall visitor capacity and implemented timed admissions. There are hand sanitizer stations throughout the Garden. Restrooms will be cleaned and sanitized before each event. Bars will have protective plexiglass barriers and offer beverages in disposable cups or cans. There will not be any cash transactions at bars. These guidelines have also been communicated with the caterer and vendors.
Our venue is entirely outdoors and will be set up so that you will be able to socially distance from others. Per the City of Phoenix mandates, all visitors are required to wear a face covering in order to enter through Admissions and walk through the Garden. Please wash your hands often, limit face touching, use hand sanitizer, and wear a face covering when not eating or drinking. If you are showing any symptoms or signs of COVID-19 or have tested positive or been exposed, please stay home.
