When should I arrive?

We recommend arriving on Thursday, June 18 to have time to settle in and explore before the wedding weekend begins.

What airport should I fly into?

Answer

Jackson Hole Airport (JAC) is the closest option, about 1 hour from Alpine. Idaho Falls Regional Airport (IDA) and Salt Lake City International (SLC) are other good alternatives with lower prices. Details are on our Travel & Stay tab!

Do I need to rent a car?

Answer

Yes. We recommend renting larger vehicles and coordinating with others to carpool whenever possible.

What's the weather like in June?

Answer

You can expect warm, sunny days (typically in the mid 70s or low 80s) and cooler evenings (typically in the mid 40s or 50s). The weather can change quickly, so make sure to pack layers!

Bring comfortable shoes, layers for cooler evenings, casual outfits for exploring, and formal attire for the wedding day.

Will meals be provided?

Answer

We’ll have a celebration dinner at Calico Restaurant at 7:30 PM following the wedding day ceremony. There’s also a grill at the Airbnb for casual dinners during the trip. We’ll do a grocery run so we can cook and hang out, but you’ll also have time to check out local restaurants nearby.
