FAQs

Question

Should I RSVP online or by mail?

Answer

Either works! We've included a mailed RSVP card for the convenience of some of our loved ones, but if you RSVP through our website, there's no need to mail the card back.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Please refer to your invitation or RSVP, as only those listed are included in our celebration.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

While we adore your little ones, our wedding day will be an adults-only celebration unless otherwise noted on your invitation.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Black tie. Gentlemen are requested to wear tuxedos, and ladies are encouraged to wear floor-length gowns. We can't wait to celebrate with you in your finest attire!

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony and reception will both be indoors.

Question

What's the weather like in Charlotte in October?

Answer

October in Charlotte is typically mild, with cool mornings and evenings (think mid-70s). We recommend bringing a light jacket or wrap for any time spent outdoors.

Question

What if I've never attended a Catholic Mass?

Answer

You are warmly welcome! There is no expectation to participate or know the customs of the Mass—simply following along with the congregation is more than enough. If you need more details, feel free to check out this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VmOEo0Hasi4

Question

What should I wear to the church ceremony?

Answer

Reception attire is welcome. Ladies wearing strapless or off-the-shoulder gowns are kindly encouraged to bring an elegant shawl or wrap to cover their shoulders during the ceremony.

Question

Is the ceremony unplugged?

Answer

Yes. We kindly ask that all phones and cameras remain tucked away during the ceremony so everyone can be fully present as we exchange our vows.

Question

Is there a registry?

Answer

For those who wish to celebrate with a gift, we have chosen to create a honeymoon fund in lieu of a traditional registry.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

A hotel room block has been reserved for our guests. Please visit the Travel page for booking details.

Question

Where should I park?

Answer

Complimentary parking is available at the church for guests attending the ceremony. Validated parking will also be available in the reception parking deck. If you'll be celebrating with us into the evening, we strongly encourage using Uber. Ride-share discount codes will be available closer to the wedding.

Question

Is the celebration over after the reception?

Answer

Not quite! For those who'd like to keep the celebration going, a party bus will depart following the reception for an evening of bar hopping. Additional details will be shared closer to the wedding.
