Jenny met James at a party while attending the Rhode Island School of Design in 2010. What was supposed to be a chance encounter turned into something more when Jenny spotted James in the pottery studio late one night and discovered they were both taking pottery electives. They continued to bump into each other at the studio, both preferring the quiet energy of the nighttime. Slowly, a romance began to develop. Even more slowly, that romance became a relationship. Eventually, they both graduated, and Jenny moved to New York City. A place that James never wanted to live, so they sadly said their goodbyes. A few weeks later, James called Jenny, and told her that he got a job in NYC, and that he was going to take it- if he could join her in the apartment. Fast forward to Christmas 2017... After almost seven years of being in a wonderful relationship, James decided to take the leap, in front of both their families, and in front of the Christmas tree, he proposed. Jenny said yes, and now they are planning their wedding in upstate New York, in a beautiful little town called Tannersville. We hope to see you there!
