Maddy and Jenny met during their time at the University of Colorado while working at Program Council. Their friendship, which began at Boulder (Sko Buffs!) making popcorn for the fellow movie go-ers in CHEM 140, has evolved into a deep and enduring bond, filled with shared laughter, countless adventures, and unwavering support. Maddy and Jenny's bond as friends grew stronger when Maddy & Jenny lived together in Westwood and shared a bedroom with each other and another friend, Boneth, from Colorado. Yes, three girls to one bedroom. Maddy has made a lasting impact on Jenny's life with Maddy's wisdom and life advice as well as teaching Jenny so much about baking, cooking, and fun art projects. Maddy has always been there for Jenny since college. Although at times it may feel like their friendship is GU (geographically undesirable) for Los Angeles, Maddy and Jenny have made it a point to either FaceTime, call, or hang out with each other once a week. Maddy and Jenny share fun memories together camping and traveling to Palm Springs & Joshua Tree together. Maddy recently embarked on a beautiful journey of her own as she exchanged vows with the love of her life, Zac Palladino. Maddy is someone Jenny has always admired from Day 1, from the way Maddy can keep her cool under the most stressful of times, to how she makes everyone feel seen and special; making her the perfect person to stand by Jenny on her special day.
Sean Ribisi

Nico and Sean's friendship has stood the test of time, tracing back to their early days at American Martyrs and solidifying during their time at Loyola High School. They shared classes, embarked on a memorable school trip to Europe with Groomsman Jeremy Shank, and naturally gravitated towards living together post-college. Luck played its part when Sean's parents found a great duplex in Redondo, where they called home for two years. Over time, their bond grew, reaching a significant point during the Pandemic. The Ribisi family became an integral part of Jenny & Nico’s social circle, with shared hours of board games and activities. Despite life's changes, Sean moving just a few blocks away, their friendship remains strong, with regular meet-ups each week.

Carmen, a cherished friend and bridesmaid, shares a bond with Jenny that spans over 17 years, tracing back to their high school days at Vistamar School. Their enduring friendship blossomed as they journeyed through homeroom with Mr. Drennen and shared memorable carpool rides to school. After college, Carmen and Jenny continued their adventures by living together in Westchester, CA, crafting cherished memories, including their fun-filled Vegas trip with their partners. Their bond deepened even further during their unforgettable experiences in Joshua Tree. Carmen's unwavering support and friendship have been a cornerstone in Jenny's life, making her an integral part of this special celebration.
Jeremy Shank

Nico and Jeremy's friendship traces back to the 3rd grade at American Martyrs when Jeremy relocated to California. Their camaraderie took root at Martyrs and seamlessly transitioned into their years at Loyola High School. Throughout high school, Sean, Jeremy, and Nico formed a tight-knit trio, spending countless weekends together. During the college years the three of them would spend summers back at home together. Post-college, it was a rare sight to find Sean, Jeremy, or Nico without the others close by — a testament to the inseparable bond. To this day the three of them are as tight as ever and still see each other for our weekly DnD game. Jeremy and Nico bond over their shared love of botany, role playing as DM, and Baldur’s Gate.
Emma Smith

Emma has been a cherished friend of Jenny since attending a Frat Party together Freshman year in Colorado. Their friendship, which started in the Sewall Hall dormitory, has flourished into a lasting bond filled with shared memories and adventures, including standing as a bridesmaid in Emma’s wedding. Emma's warmth and unwavering support have been a constant presence in Jenny's life. Jenny is also the godmother of Emma's precious baby daughter, Aurora. As a bridesmaid, Emma stands by Jenny's side, sharing in the joy of this special moment and providing the same support and friendship that has defined their journey together.
Dalton Becky

Dalton and Nico's friendship began during their early days of Freshman year in college in Boulder, Colorado, within the halls of Darley North. Fate placed them across the hall from each other in the dorms, and their quick connection was inevitable. Freshman year unfolded as a wild and memorable experience with Dalton as a steadfast friend. It was natural they chose to live together during their sophomore year, occupying what Nico fondly recalls as his best living arrangement in college – a converted garage complete with its own sink and, naturally, an open air toilet. The two continued to live together with 11 other of their best friends for the rest of college. Post-college Nico and Dalton have remain great friends, attended golf trips to Palm Springs together, spent celebrated holidays and birthdays, and Nico stood as a Groomsman in Dalton’s wedding.
Amalia Arguello

Amalia, one of Jenny's closest friends from Boulder, shares a unique bond that was forged during their college years starting in the dorm of Sewall Hall. Their friendship, which began attending a cheetah-themed Frat Party has grown into a deep and enduring connection. Amalia's shared love of Cosmo's Pizza, early 2000s pop, and belting Selena (not Gomez) in the car with Jenny has been a couple factors in cementing the solid foundation of their friendship. Amalia was also the first friend of Jenny's to meet Nico all the way back when Jenny & Nico first met in Boulder. Amalia's unwavering support, infectious laughter, and shared adventures have enriched Jenny's life in countless ways. There will never be a time where these two don’t hysterically crack up when they are together. As a bridesmaid, Amalia stands by Jenny's side, symbolizing the enduring strength of their friendship and the joy of their shared journey.
Andy Jobe

Much like Dalton, Andy became a close friend from Freshman year of College at CU. Although Andy lived on the same floor as Dalton and Nico, it wasn't until the second semester that their paths crossed. A chance encounter on the bus, courtesy of Dalton's introduction, marked the beginning of a trio that would stand the test of time, the tripod as some may call them. Friendships flourished swiftly, and Andy seamlessly integrated into the close-knit group, joining Dalton, Nico, and the rest of their 1511 friends for the subsequent three years. Over the course of three years their bond deepened. Post-graduation Nico frequently reaches out to Andy, not always for a specific reason but to catch up. Andy serves as a reliable pillar of support, embodying the essence of a true and enduring friendship. Plus he is one of the funniest people Nico knows.
Sarah Coleman

Sarah Coleman was Jenny's college freshman roommate and roommate for most of college. Sarah holds a special place in Jenny’s heart, not because she didn’t mind how messy Jenny was or how much stuff Jenny brought with her, but how Sarah and Sarah’s family instantly welcomed Jenny into their homes as if she was their own. Sarah has been a constant source of support and companionship throughout their college years. Sarah's presence in the bridal party is a testament to the incredible journey they've shared as roommates, studying partners in Norlin Library, coffee and tea enthusiasts, and soul sisters. Jenny is grateful for Sarah and her family for taking her in on the weekends and holidays spent, making home-cooked meals in Boulder. Her unwavering friendship shared laughter, and countless late-night munchie-filled experiences have enriched Jenny's life in immeasurable ways. Jenny is overjoyed to have Sarah as one of her bridesmaids, standing by her side on this momentous day.

Dubbed the "Kids Down the Hall" by the rest of the floor, Josh and his roommates, occupying a four-person suite in Darley North, initially found themselves amid a different energy on Nico’s freshman floor. The atmosphere was a bit rowdy, to say the least. Undeterred, Nico, confident in his ability to make friends, reached out to the cool snowboarding Kids Down the Hall, Josh among them. What ensued was the swift and easy blossoming friendship. Josh proved to be the epitome of approachability, making it effortless for Nico to connect with him. Their friendship thrived throughout college, with Josh eventually joining Nico, Andy, and Dalton as roommates for the remainder of their college journey. Beyond the campus, Nico holds a genuine fondness for Josh and his family, sharing a common love for Washington (Josh's home state) and the great outdoors. Josh has invited Nico to multiple trips to Josh's family home in Sunland, WA, creating enduring memories that Nico cherishes to this day.

Bria's unwavering support, shared laughter, and the countless challenges they've conquered together have enriched Jenny's life in profound ways. As a bridesmaid, Bria stands by Jenny's side, not only as a dear friend but as a trusted ally who has been a witness to the milestones and growth in their lives.
Spencer Pipkin

The next trio of groomsmen collectively represents a cherished friend group fondly known as "The Posse," a tight-knit circle that has been a constant in Nico’s life since the age of 10. In 1999, the Pipkins, a family of 6 boys, moved into their new home on 5th street, the same street Nico’s parents live on. Spencer is one of a kind. They broke the mold with him. He is a combination of adventure, kindness, loving, hilarious, giving, and uncanny luck, and more. Throughout the years, Nico has shared countless weekends at the Pipkin home, joining what felt like every other kid in the neighborhood. From holidays to vacations, these shared moments have forged a bond that goes beyond friendship, making the Pipkins feel like a second family. Nico considers himself incredibly fortunate to have them in his life, and the memories shared with Spencer and the rest of the boys are something Nico is immensely proud of.

Lizzy, a treasured friend and a kindred spirit, became an integral part of Jenny's life during their shared experiences at Fullscreen. As Lizzy was one of the first friends Jenny made at Fullscreen, their journey together, marked by collaboration and mutual support, has deepened into a profound and lasting friendship. Lizzy's unwavering loyalty, shared laughter, combined mission and accomplishment to attend the Kids Choice Awards, and shared love for all things Disney have added a unique richness to Jenny's life. As a bridesmaid, Lizzy stands beside Jenny, not only as a dear friend but as a testament to the incredible connections that can blossom in unexpected places, like the workplace.
Danny Mishler

Danny, another integral member of "The Posse," entered Nico’s life through the Pipkins during high school years. They shared the soccer field for a number of years on the Pipkin AYSO team (somehow the Posse all managed to get on the same team every year). Post-college, their friendship deepened as Danny and Nico discovered a shared passion for MMA, often meeting to enjoy a few beers while watching UFC events. It was their mutual love for golf that truly solidified and their friendship. Nico will claim Danny is his greatest accomplishment as a golf coach. Danny's role as a friend and confidant in Nico's life has been invaluable, and their shared interests have only strengthened the foundation of their enduring friendship.
Michael (Mikey) Lanfre

The last member of "The Posse" crew is Mikey. Nico & Mickey’s paths crossed at a young age, thanks to the Pipkins yet again. Mikey is the kind of guy who is generous, funny, caring, and just genuine – it's obvious if you spend any time with him. Over the years, Mikey and Nico have gotten tighter, whether it's through sports, Fantasy football, trips to Bass Lake, or just a simple hangout. Nico finds himself shooting random texts to Mikey just for a good laugh. Conversation with Mikey is easy, and you're guaranteed to crack a smile. He's got that knack for making someone's day with minimal effort.

Siena, the delightful junior bridesmaid and niece to Nico, holds a special place in the hearts of Jenny and Nico. Siena and Jenny have already forged a close relationship, sharing cherished memories together, going to Disneyland with Jenny, Siena’s brother Sawyer, and uncle Nico as well as recently visiting Jenny & Nico's alma mater, the University of Colorado. By having Siena by their side, Jenny and Nico honor the memory of Talia, Siena’s mother and Nico’s late sister, and the deep love that still binds their family.
Sawyer Frederick

As the junior Groomsman, Sawyer plays a special role in the couple’s big day. Nico & Jenny’s love for their nephew knows no bounds and have enjoyed watching him grow up to be a funny, caring young man. Jenny and Nico are most proud of Sawyer’s accomplishments in surfing and as a pro Lego builder. Sawyer’s presence in the wedding party is additionally special to the couple as it is also a heartfelt tribute to Sawyer’s beloved mother, Talia.
Cara Hessels Schneider

Officiant Cara Hessels Schneider, or better known as Rabbi Chessels, will do the honors in leading the ceremony on Jenny & Nico's special day. As Cara and Jenny met at their days at Amazon Music (#traumabonded), Cara is a forever friend to the couple. Cara and her husband, Andrew have welcomed the couple into their beautiful home and spent many nights eating delicious food and hysterically crying and laughing. Cara is the embodiment of the beautiful blend of different cultures and traditions Jenny & Nico hope to create in their future together. It is with immense joy and gratitude that the couple has chosen Cara to be the officiant for their wedding, as her presence signifies unity and inclusivity. Jenny also promises to teach Cara her latka recipe so Andrew can stop asking Cara to make them just as good as Jenny every Hanukkah.
