Plus ones are welcome! So are kids! Just let us know the total size of your group so we can make sure we have enough food. There is a playground right by the pavilion, and we will also bring some lawn games.
We'd love to have RSVPs by July 17th. If you aren't sure or if something changes, just shoot one of us a message!
The reception is outdoors, but there is a large shelter.
The shelter has its own parking lot. If we exceed the capacity of that lot, you can park anywhere along Lake Dr near the shelter. There are no stairs or curbs involved in getting into the shelter, and we are going to reserve some of the spots closest to the shelter for those that need easier access to the space. If you're biking, there are a handful of signs and a fence in the back that you can use to lock up your bike.
Oakland, Shadyside, Lawrenceville, and East Liberty are all neighborhoods convenient to the wedding location that also have numerous hotels and Airbnbs/VRBOs. Please also note that a portion of 376--one of the major highways-- will be closed over this weekend. It is not near the wedding location but may impact your travel to and from the city. We'd advise you to avoid the Greenfield, Squirrel Hill South, and Edgewood areas as places to stay or travel through.
There is no particular dress code-- you should wear whatever you feel best in! It may be hot, so keep your own comfort in mind.
The historic average is 85 F Chance of short downpours Gentle breeze (This is why nothing is taking place in the hotter part of the day)
Jenny dreams of wearing something purple while lauren will probably be in something green. You can join in the theme if you choose but don't feel any obligation.
Current plan is a make your own taco bar, cake, and drinks. We'll have vegan and gluten free options available, and please let us know in your RSVP if you have any other dietary needs!
Gifts are not needed or expected! If you'd like to write us a card, we'd be delighted.
