What's the parking sitch?

Answer

For the ceremony: We have reserved a large lot across Marshall street from St. Paul's for complimentary parking during the ceremony. For the reception: There is a parking garage attached to the Pfister, and our guests will receive the following discounted parking rates for self-park in the garage: $8 for event parking, or $18 for overnight parking. Valet parking is also available for $33.

How far is the church from the reception?

Answer

St. Paul's is about 1 mile (or 5 minutes by car) from the Pfister Hotel. Please see the Things to Do section of this website for more information on St. Paul's and the Pfister and see a map of their locations.

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Because the church and reception venue are near each other and both have ample parking, we invite guests to either drive to the church and then the reception, or you can park at the Pfister and take an Uber to and from church.

That looks like a beautiful historic church where you'll be married. Does it have air conditioning?

Answer

Good eye! No, the church does not have air conditioning. But it does have Tiffany windows! And also, there will be airflow assisting-devices at church and time to freshen up before we party down in sweet, glorious air conditioning!

This will be my first time attending an Episcopal service. What should I do about the Eucharist?

Answer

Everyone is welcome and encouraged to participate in the Eucharist, regardless of their religious affiliation, if they're comfortable doing so.

I have special dietary needs. Whom should I contact to make sure those are accommodated?

Answer

When you arrive at the Pfister for the reception, please let a member of the staff know, and they will be happy to accommodate any special dietary needs you have.
