We're getting married!

We had our first date in 2021 at Silver Lake Park in Haymarket. I made a charcuterie board that made William fall in love. It went so well that William asked me to get breakfast the next day (although, after a night at The Bungalow, that "breakfast" turned into a late brunch). We have been going strong ever since! We persevered through long distance in the beginning, spending hours on I-95 driving back and forth between Richmond and Bristow. Eventually, William got a new job and moved up to Northern Virginia. We lived together for about a year in my family house (thanks, Daddy!) before moving into our first place together in Arlington. In February 2024, William proposed with a beautiful diamond, a cherished heirloom given from his late dad to his mom, symbolizing the love they shared and its legacy. Then, in September 2024, we rounded out our little family by bringing home our cat, Ripley (named after Ellen Ripley from Alien... believe it or not). We couldn't be more excited to start this next chapter of our lives together. From the moment we met at Silver Lake Park, to the adventures we've shared, to the simple joys of building our home, it’s been an incredible journey. We're so grateful for all the love and support we've received along the way, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds as we continue to grow together. Here's to forever!
