We met through a friend, I moved in with a co-worker Melissa and her boyfriend at the time JR at the end of 2017. JR was Shajuan's (Juan/Man) friend. One day JR came to Melissa and she came to me and asked if she could give Juan my number and I told her to tell JR that if he wanted my number than he could walk across the street and come get it. So she told JR and he told Juan then a few weeks later while we were taking shots and having a good time and here comes Juan, he had a few shots with us and we sat down and started talking.

It was the best birthday that I had so far. About a week before my birthday Juan asked me what size ring do i wear. I did not think anything of it. The day of my birthday came I was getting ready for my birthday dinner and I sat down waiting for Juan to get ready. He was acting funny most of the day, but he does that from time to time. I looked up and he was pacing around the livingroom. He looked like he was looking for something. I asked him "what you looking for" and he told me the "remote". And I had it and asked him if he wanted it. He told me yes and I gave it to him but he turned off the TV, and came and got on his knee in front of me and told me how much he loves me and what I mean to him. Then he asked me to marry him. I was in shock the whole time he was talking. What made it more special, he also asked me in front of my mom. That was the best birthday ever.
