This place is incredible and as social-media friendly as they come. See a different side of Vegas but make reservations in advance!
This is Fremont Street at it's best. Stop by one of the casinos that made Las Vegas a place to be and experience some of the Rat Pack-inspired splendor that made the American desert the strange, crazy hot spot it is today.
Our absolute favorite casino in Las Vegas. Cheap slots, amazing tables, and an atmosphere you won't soon forget.
The Cosmopolitan is chock full of fun little surprises in every nook and cranny. Great art on the walls, crayons in your room, and these little guys: Old-timey cigarette machines stocked not with cancer sticks, but $5 pieces of art of all kinds created by local artists. Take advantage and grab yourself a unique little memento to help you remember this great weekend (because you might forget a lot of it).
The Chinatown in Vegas is vast and full of incredible options to eat the best the East has to offer. Lotus of Siam is probably the most famous. Expect an authentic Thai experience in a Vegas-style strip mall. We recommend ordering off of the Northern Thai menu.
Unwind at one of the most breathtaking spas in the country. Tried and tested by the Bride, this is one of the most stunning places you could ever find to treat yo self.
Las Vegas is known for it's tiki culture - it's just baked into the aesthetic. Stop by Frankie's to enjoy a cozy space designed by Trader Vic himself. Play some digital blackjack while you sip your Hurricane.
This is the hottest spot in town - for those in the know. Incredibly exciting New American cuisine and an insane cocktail list with a view of the kitchen. Nestled in the heart of Chinatown.
There is not anything that is more classic Las Vegas than the Peppermill. Recently reopened after a long hiatus, their neon atmosphere and 24-hour breakfast draws locals to The Strip and keeps tourists delighted.
Cheap. Local. Make sure you get in the Al Pastor line and be blown away.
An unexpected element of Burning Man awaits those who venture into this outdoor "mall" of local food and retail vendors. You might stumble upon a concert, pick up some local jerky, and drink one serious "no para los gringos" margarita.
HOT TAKE! As of May 2018, the Palms Casino has reopened after a multi-million dollar renovation. The Casino was purchased by two world-renowned art collectors who donated pieces from their private collection for the updated decor. Expect to find the bride sneaking off on Friday to see the Damien Hurst-designed bar, Unknown, so she can experience that shark for herself.
A solid dive with wallet-friendly cheap drink specials and if you're feeling kitchsy, grab anything you want off of the wall and just buy it. If you catch them on the right night, there's movies screened in the salvage-friendly backyard.
"I have some knife skills, you know."
Insanely delicious brunch with some Latin and Cajun influences. Definitely a spot for the locals and the more adventurous visitors, get there early and don't miss the biscuit special. Also, doesn't hurt that Downtown Donuts is right next door.
They don't call it Sin City for nothing, and as of 2017, legality for the green rush went from medical to recreational. This spot across from The Palms Casino boasts a less-busy, always fully-stocked retail experience for those that care to partake.
Another great Thai option except this one is on Fremont. Get a spiked Thai iced tea and try to sit in the backyard. Great friendly service and a fun young atmosphere.
We wouldn't normally tell you to go into a mall and enter a store for overpriced, ridiculous luxury goods - but this particular store has a secret. Travel to the top floor of the shop and enter James Turrell's immersive art installation. You'll score bragging rights for life.
Flamingos. Real-life flamingos. Need we say more?
Go here for the bread and butter, stay for the coolest sinks in town. This is not a drill.
A not-to-miss in the arts district. Latin brunch and please, for the love of all that is holy, drink a lavender mimosa. Or have a lavender macha latte. YOLO.
I mean, you can guess what this is. Yup, a lounge where you're surrounded by giant tropical fish tanks and - real-life mermaids. This one is in Silverton, south of the Strip but a major must-visit.
Pinball is one of Sean and Jenny's favorite pastimes, and it would behoove the bride and groom to share one of their favorite activities with their awesome wedding guests. And this is the National Hall of Fame of Pinball, so honestly, if you're going to P-Ball, this is THE PLACE.
It's not Vegas if you're not being unnecessarily decadent, and nothing screams excess like getting a hangover treatment - via IV. Join the bride and groom at 10 AM on Sunday if you choose. If you're staying at the Cosmo, it's a short stumble away from your room. Yeah, we're going there.
RIP Anthony Bourdain. This reco is an homage to one of the best that have lived. Talk about a guy that went off the beaten path. Eat some expertly crafted Japanese grub - in a strip mall - in honor of one of the fallen greats of adventure.
