The most family-friendly and most popular is Del Mar Beach, side street parking. And since it's after Labor Day should be less busy. Also, Fletchers Cove: Fun area, beautiful walking ramp to the beach. Good place to walk around and sightsee. Also, Moonlight Beach: family-friendly, a little bit harder to find parking.

How far is the San Diego Airport to the Venue or Hilton Del Mar Hotel?

Answer

From the San Diego Airport to the Hotel is about a 25 minute drive. Hotel to the Rehearsal dinner 12 minutes up the coast, beautiful short drive. Hotel to the Venue, The Secret Garden, 13 minute drive. The wedding will end at 10:00pm, then the after-party will be at the hotel. Please note: If you are staying at an Airbnb instead of the hotel, please call an Uber or Lyft 20 minutes before you are leaving and /or please drive safely home.

La Jolla- Watch the seals and the waves in the Cove. Fletchers Cove Beach Park- Fun place to walk around, and watch the sunset. Downtown Carlsbad- The village has a lot of shops, restaurants, and great ocean views. San Diego Zoo- 24 minutes from Hotel San Diego Botanic Garden- 12 minutes from Hotel (Fun place to walk around, be outside, see cool Cali plants) Encinitas Downtown - 10 minutes from Hotel, Area to walk around, shops etc. Old Town, San Diego- 19 minutes from hotel, Mexican Restaurants, historic area, fun place to walk, gift shops etc.
