CELEBRATE

I wanted to make the day incredibly special for Jenny bc she honestly deserved nothing less. I had the ring for a few weeks so I was itching to do it. I knew Miami on NYE was not the right time bc no family would be around (she is super close and extremely loyal to her family). I did not want to stray from “US,” so i planned a typical Saturday for us which encompassed everything we tend to do together. We had tea/chai at our favorite coffee shop. After that we volunteered w/our church at a Sr. Citizens Home & after grabbing lunch & before i took a nap i went & picked up some hotel decorations i wanted to display in our hotel room for that night. Next was our West Wing Tour w/her cousin Greg, her mother & grandmother. The tour was very special for them & it made my heart very happy to be able to take her 86 year young grandmother (whom i ❤️ very much) on the Tour. After the Tour- we drove back to Arlington & had dinner at our very first date spot- True Food. Next, I went to the bathroom to practice my proposal message. As we were leaving the restaurant I had asked to take a family picture outside to capture the moment. After the family shot and another pic or 4, I eventually got Jenny in the exact spot on the sidewalk where we had our very first date and got on my knee and asked her to spend the rest of our days on this earth together. Her grandmother and mom sniffling with tears of happiness and the restaurant staring at us. By far the greatest day of our lives. But it’s not over..... I took them back to our cafe where i had the owner spell out “congrats” with about 50 small and large donuts. We shared glasses of champagne as well as lots of laughs and lots and lots of donuts! Afterwards, because this is how we are.. we went and watched the PPV UFC fight and ... then the next morning went to church bc WE BOTH KNOW without GOD #1 in our lives- none of this would have been possible. Thank you God and TY JENNY- you make me the happiest man on earth!

Grateful, thankful, blessed! Those are just a few words to describe the emotions we feel for each other and all God has done up to this point in our lives, as well as for you! Your love, support, and friendships mean so much to us! Thank you for standing beside us, praying for us and being there for us as we take this leap of faith and commitment together! You have been an important part of our lives, so we hope you can join us. Well... the third attempt is going to have due! We first moved our date from May 8th to July 11th just hoping and praying for us to be able to our wedding.... and now we need to make ONE MORE ADJUSTMENT! After talking with Stone Manor Country Club and the current COVID-19 regulations in Maryland for Frederick County, unfortunately we are going to have to move venues and also only hold a small gathering for our bridesmaids, groomsmen and immediate family. We will be providing a zoom link shortly for all of you to still join us for our wedding ceremony! As much as it saddens us to not have each and every one of you in attendance, we know you will be celebrating with us from afar while remaining healthy and safe at home. Hashtag #MJ2020
