It all started in November 2024, thanks to a little help from our best friends, Hudson and Hannah. They thought it would be fun to set us up and go on a double date—and we’re so glad they did. From that very first night, Jenny and McKay clicked. What started as one date quickly turned into constant texting, more time together, and a friendship that felt effortless. At the time, Jenny was preparing to leave on a mission, so she was hesitant to make things official. Even so, that didn’t stop them from continuing to go on dates and grow closer. Through it all, it became clear to Jenny that McKay was someone she truly needed in her life. On February 19, 2025, they decided to make it official. After three wonderful months of dating, Jenny left on her mission. Even with the distance, their relationship stayed strong—McKay faithfully waited, and they wrote to each other every week. After five months, due to health reasons, Jenny returned home. Being back together only confirmed what they already felt—they couldn’t imagine life without each other. On December 11, 2025, McKay proposed, and it was an easy “yes.” Since then, their love has continued to grow deeper and stronger every day. They truly believe they were made for each other, and as best friends, they can’t wait to spend forever side by side.
