What is unique about the Venue?

Answer

The wedding venue is at the Venetian Lady Yacht. First, it departs promptly (be on time). Second, it will give you the opportunity to enjoy the Miami Skyline for 5 non-stop hours. That means that once it departs, it does not return to the marina until the end. It has 2 levels with air conditioning (November gets warm in Miami) and a rooftop. It will depart from the Bayside marina. It is next to Brickell but keep in mind that due to construction or special events in the area it may take you 20/30 mins to get there from Brickell.

How do I get to the Venue?

Answer

The yacht will leave from one of the the Bayside Marina docks. The marina is part of the Bayside Marketplace (shops and restaurants) located at: 401 Biscayne Blvd. Bayside Marketplace Miami, FL 33132 Entering the address into a GPS will bring you to the main entrance of Bayside Marketplace and it will be a long walk to the back of the mall where the docks are located. If using Uber, you want to get dropped off behind the marketplace next to the Hard Rock. If parking, walk towards the Hard Rock. As the date approaches, we'll be updating the directions with the dock being used that day.

Should we rent a car?

Answer

We recommend Uber or Lyft. If you are staying in Brickell you can walk to coffee shops, mall, restaurants, etc. It is also a short 15 minute ride to Miami Beach.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Although we love your children, we regretfully cannot accommodate them due to restrictions at the venue. We hope you are able to join us anyways and enjoy a wonderful evening with friends and family!

Yes, Semi-Formal: Suits, gowns and cocktail dresses are welcome.

What Airport should I fly into?

Answer

The closest and the preferred choice is Miami International Airport (MIA). It is 7.2 miles. 20 minutes drive without traffic and 30-40 minutes with traffic. You can Uber to the Brickell area or if you feel adventurous, the metro rail is $2.50 to Brickell. You can also use Fort Lauderdale Airport (FLL). It is 25 miles away from Brickell. The ride takes about 45 minutes without traffic. Sometimes you can find cheaper fares using this airport but keep in mind the Uber/Lyft is about $40.

Do I need to stay in the Brickell area?

Answer

No. Miami is a young city and relatively small (compared to a city like Los Angeles). There are great places to stay/explore such as Miami Beach, North Miami Beach, Key Biscayne, Coral Gables and Wynwood. They are close to Brickell and the wedding venue.
