Question

When should I plan to get there and leave?

Answer

The Welcome Event is completely optional for those in town who are able to join us! The wedding and reception will be Friday, June 27th, 2025 at 4:30pm. If flying in Friday, keep in mind that there is a 2 hour drive from the airport to Boone. Brunch on Saturday is another optional event that all are welcome at if still in town!

What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

We recommend comfortable cocktail attire with layers, as the weather is warm during the days but can be cool at night. The ceremony is taking place outside on grass, so girls, plan your shoes accordingly!

Can I bring my kids to the wedding?

Answer

We love your little ones, but we’ve decided to make our wedding an adults-only celebration. We hope this will allow everyone to relax, let loose, and enjoy the evening with us. Thank you for understanding, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes! The venue has enough parking to accommodate everyone.

Which hotel should I stay at?

Answer

This is completely up to you! Both are under 15 minutes from the venue and even closer to the main street. The La Quinta is only about 1 mile from the main street, but TownePlace Suites is closer to Blowing Rock if you want to check out that area. Either hotels are great options!

Can I send the wedding gift directly to the couple?

Answer

Yes, and we’d greatly appreciate it! Since we’re an out-of-town couple, it’s much easier for gifts to be sent directly to us. When you purchase a gift from our registry, the pre-specified shipping address will automatically be included at checkout. This ensures your thoughtful gift gets to us safely and without any extra hassle. Thank you for your generosity!

How do I price match with Zola?

If you find an everyday lower price on a qualifying item from of our approved online retailers at the time of purchase or within 48 hours of the order date, email us and we'll adjust the price to match it.
