She's known me the longest and has always been a pillar of strength in my life. We were sixth-grade camp cabin buddies (Cabin 5!!!), I watched basketball become her life in high school, and we had a ton of fun in our 20's as she was becoming the most loving and wonderful teacher. Mel now has 2 beautiful baby girls and a 3rd on the way! WHEW!
