Please make reservations in advance if you are wanting to visit the island, as they usually do not have day of tickets available. There is a large hill that you must go up to see inside the prison, you can walk, or they do have a small tram for anyone that needs it.
The famous part on Lombard Street is between Hyde Street and Leavenworth Street.
