Yellowstone Destination Wedding

We are excited to have you all experience this magical place where we fell in love. We want you all to take some time to explore Yellowstone National Park if you can. Please understand that the park is massive, it is busy, and you will want to have a plan before you arrive. "Winging it" on accommodations inside YNP and the surrounding communities is not advised. Unfortunately we do not have the time or resources to be travel agents for all of our beloved friends and family. We are relying on you to do some research and join us on our big day with a plan in place for exploring the worlds first national park! For reservations inside the park please use the link below. We recommend calling the reservations line listed on that website before booking. They will be able to tell you where you will want dinner reservations, travel distances to the most popular attractions, and will give you a realistic expectation on the nature of your accommodations.

Local communities and acommodations

Please remember that the Greater Yellowstone Area is almost unfathomable in its size, diversity, and exploring opportunities. The "gate communities" are often hours of driving from one another and from the biggest attractions in the park. They also vary greatly in the common weather during mid-September. Distances listed are from our Wedding site, please take some time to familiarize yourself with the area so that you are not stranded hours from your accommodations when it is getting dark. Livingston, MT - 30 miles; 30 minutes (about 1 hour from north YNP gate) Gardiner, MT - 30 miles; 30 minutes (adjacent to north entrance of YNP) West Yellowstone, MT - 86 miles; 2+ hours (adjacent to west entrance of YNP) Cody, WY - 165 miles; 4+ hours (60 miles from east YNP entrance) Jackson, WY - 186 miles; 4+ hours (adjacent to south entrance of Grand Teton National Park, 60 miles from south entrance of YNP) If you have questions on anything please feel free to let us know.
