We went here on our first date. Walk the beach alongside all the dogs, sit at the fire pits, and check out the food at the Dillon Beach Resort.

Sugarloaf Ridge State Park
We got engaged here! Francis lives and works at the park as their Maintenance Lead. It's a little further from Tomales, but if you are here an extra day, you can spend it exploring the trails, observing the wildlife, stargazing at the the Robert Ferguson Observatory and meeting people at the campgrounds.
Redwood Cafe
A great cafe near Jen's place; we like pretty much everything here and they have a nice atmosphere and friendly staff. You can even find Jen on their website photo reel working next to the fireplace. :) If you're looking for to-go coffee and pastries instead, Cotati Coffee is across the street and you can walk from there to La Plaza Park where you'll find a statue of Jim Boggio, accordion player (we just attended Cotati’s annual Accordion Festival over the weekend).

Our favorite store for your grocery needs, employee-owned and a great place to stop if you want to try local goods. Francis likes to buy flowers here for Jenny and everyone who works here is really nice.
Lagunitas Brewing Company
Popular brewery and taproom in Petaluma. They do tours and sometimes have live music.
Route One Bakery & Kitchen
A tasty bakery in Tomales where Jen's parents often pick up bread, deserts and sandwiches to share with us.
