Kris made plans to take me to my favorite restaurant, Place de Fetes, in Brooklyn for my birthday. He always knew the way to my heart was to feed me good food. Naturally, we would stop at a couple of our favorite spots along the way. First up was Maison Premier, an iconic Absinthe and Oyster bar where we've made great memories over the years. Kris likes to swipe all the matches from here (and every other place) so when we got to the next spot, Hotel Delmano, it wasn't a surprise when he pulled one out of his pocket. I would roll my eyes and open my purse for him to toss his collectibles in. But this matchbox was different than all the others. Inside this one, he was hiding a ring! We went on to share a beautiful moment together and I agreed to marry him after many moments of disbelief! We're getting married!! Can you believe it?? PINCH ME!
