Austin and I booked a last minute trip up to Steamboat Springs, CO in April to skii for the weekend! It was planned with such short notice, I was under no impression this would be THE proposal weekend. 
We spent most of the day skiing on Friday and had planned dinner at a nice Italian spot downtown to end the night. On our way to dinner Austin suggested stopping at the patio bar to grab a drink. Of course I obliged. 
As I stepped out on to the patio I saw red rose petals scattered all over while Chris Stapleton played "Beautiful Crazy" on the speaker. 
There was a photographer hiding on the far side of patio to capture the moment perfectly. 
Austin got down on one knee, and I said yes!
After the big moment the photographer shouted my way,  "you should look over the balcony!" and as soon as I did I saw my mom and dad, sister, niece, and nephew, soon to be in-laws, and my best friends! I burst into tears. We all went to dinner that night and celebrated the rest of the weekend together!
