What is the dress code?

Answer

Summer semi-formal: For men a suit and tie and for women a dressy jumpsuit or knee length or longer summer dress. Light colors and summer fabrics welcome.

When should I arrive?

Answer

The event begins at 5 PM and the ceremony will start 5:30 PM. We would greatly appreciate if you do you best to arrive at 5 so that you have enough time to have a welcome drink.

Will the ceremony and reception be at the same location? Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Yes, the ceremony and the reception will both take place at the Bakken Museum. If the weather permits, which it should in August, the wedding will be outdoors.

Do you have a gift registry?

Answer

Not really. Since we don't know yet where we'll end up living next, donations for our future home would be most appreciated! On our registry page we have added mini funds so that you may contribute to a project of your choosing.

Are there recommended hotels or neighborhoods to stay in?

Answer

Anything in Edina, Bloomington, or St. Louis Park should be fine and within a 15-20 minute car ride of the wedding venue.

Do I need a car, or is public transportation / Uber sufficient?

Answer

We would recommend to get a car, especially if you plan to stay a bit longer and visit some of the attractions in Minneapolis, such as the Minnesota State Fair or the Mall of America.

Is parking available at the venue?

Answer

Yes, there should be enough parking spots for all guests.
