Erica & Kevin

Wedding Party

Meet our family and friends who are walking down the aisle with us!

Crystal Brouwer

Maid of Honor

Crystal and Erica first met in San Luis Obispo almost 9 years ago. Even though they didn't get along when they first met, they quickly realized they had way more in common than they thought. When Erica moved to Portland in 2013, they continued their friendship from almost 2,000 miles away. Last year, Erica stood by Crystal's side as she married the man of her dreams and now Crystal will be standing by Erica's side as she marries her soul mate.

Miguel Bisteni

Best Man

Ladies and gentleman, the man behind the groom, Miguel Bisteni. I met Miguel fifteen or so years ago in middle school through similar interests. Playing music, basketball, skateboarding and late night eating were activities that allowed us to share many great laughs and fueled debates over nonsense. Early on, I’ve realized that Miguel was more than just a friend, he is family to me, through thick and thin. His sense of humor is one of his best traits-- likes to have fun but serious when needed. He has a great head on his shoulders which I appreciate but personally think is a bit too big. I am honored to have this man standing by my side. Yes, this will come with him bragging, so when you see him be sure to give him a hard time and ask why he is my best man.

Sam Felton

Bridesmaid

Sam and Erica met in 2016 at Clackamas Community College where they both attended nursing school. They first became study buddies which quickly turned into a lasting friendship. For two years, these girls helped each other pass nursing tests but also provided each other with love and support in a more personal capacity. Erica is lucky to have such a fun-loving friend to share her wedding day with.

Jose Vado

Groomsman

What can be said about this gentleman? A man that deserves a novel but has to be condensed into a short paragraph. We did not officially hit it off until middle school, when we realized we both played the best instrument of all time, the trumpet! Jose taught me how to play the blues. As cheesy at it sounds, it’s the first thing I play now-a-days when I pick up my horn. Over the years, the bond grew much stronger then I’m sure either of us would have guessed. We enjoyed trash talking and playing video games all night which often led to hysterical laughing that couldn’t stop even when we tried. Jose always knows what to say to cheer someone up. This man is a brother to me and will forever value his presence in my life. Jose, get your head out of the gutter. “But I live in the gutter!”

Kristina Achelis

Bridesmaid

Kristina and Erica did not always get along, especially when they were young and shared a room together. As adults, they have learned to appreciate each other and the unique relationship they have. Kristina has been a great source of knowledge throughout Erica's wedding planning process. She has been there for Erica every step of the way, and will continue to offer advice until the big day.

Christopher Chazer

Groomsman

Here comes Chris! We met in high school PE, and for a solid year standing in line for attendance, he was directly after me on the list. Our instructor would always give me a hard time then move on to Chris and state how much of a pleasure it was to have Chris in this class. We sort of bonded over this idea, although completely false, that he was better than I, and continued to spend more time together. Endless conversations, countless laughs, and many beers down-- I can count on Chris. In any situation, he has got my back. Just stay on his good side. Get through his rigid sarcastic exterior, which I have prized but also heavily questioned, and you will find an honest and caring gentleman that you will regret losing. I am grateful to have him as part of my life and standing behind me.

Dean Achelis

Officiant

We are lucky to have our brother in law (and future brother in law) officiating our wedding. Dean has been in our family for over 8 years and quickly learned not to steal the last cookie from a Jennings woman. We appreciate his professionalism, his sincerity and his humor and we are both honored to be standing at the end of the alter with him.
