From the NYS Thruway - take Exit 18 / New Paltz Turn left at the light to go west on Route 299 Continue on rt. 299/Main St., passing through downtown New Paltz Cross over the steel bridge & turn right onto Springtown Road In a 1/2 mile, make a left onto Mountain Rest Road Pass the entrance to the Mohonk Mountain House and go under the one-lane bridge. The Road now turns into Mohonk Road. In about 1.5 miles, turn left onto Clove Rd. & slight left to stay on Clove Rd. In 2 miles, turn left onto Lucas Turnpike In another 2 miles, turn left onto US-209 S In 2 more miles, turn right onto Mettacohants Rd. Continue on for 1 mile before turning right towards Arrowood Farms. Look for the signs! Please Drive Safely and if drinking, identify your designated driver or plan transportation through a cab/uber/lyft - these roads are windy!

The closer hotel (New Paltz) has a 2-night minimum and the further hotel (Poughkeepsie) is 45 minutes away and they're both pretty pricey because of the fall foliage season. So, your best bet is checking into an AirBnb or local bed & breakfast! There are a bunch of cute options in the area ranging from house rentals, to shared spaces, to yurts!
