What is the dress code?

Answer

The welcome event on Friday is dressy casual. She should wear: cocktail dress, summer dress, skirt and blouse, romper, or jumpsuit. He should wear: slacks or nice jeans with button-down shirt. The wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception on Saturday are formal. She should wear: a floor-length gown. He should wear: a dark suit and tie.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will take place on an outdoor terrace, and the reception will be indoors.

Is there a shuttle to and from the hotel to the ceremony?

Answer

No, the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will be held in the same hotel as the room block.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes. If your invitation does not include a guest, but you would like to bring one, please reach out to see if any spots are available.

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

Yes, we have a room block available at the Fort Lauderdale Marriott Harbor Beach Resort & Spa. Please see our Accommodations page for more information.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on social media channels. Please tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #JL2 so we can also enjoy your pictures! However, we ask that you please be cognizant of the photographers so you do not disrupt them.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, guests can head straight to cocktail hour where we will be serving appetizers and beverages.

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no” so we can plan accordingly.
