Victor and Jennifer met in 2020 during the pandemic in Baltimore, MD. Jennifer was starting her last year at Loyola University and Victor, a recent Loyola graduate, was starting his second year at University of Maryland Law School. Due to COVID closures and restrictions, Victor and Jennifer had to get creative. During this time, the couple spent time in city parks, walking around Mt. Vernon, and developed a love for escape rooms.
After graduating from Loyola, Jennifer enrolled in graduate school at Tufts University in Medford, MA. For the next 2 years, the couple had to adapt to a long distance relationship. Victor and Jennifer visited each other as often as possible during this time. When they could not be together in person, the couple got together often for virtual movie nights and dinner dates over Zoom. Despite the odds, the couple's love only grew.
In February of 2023, Victor informed Jennifer that their Valentine's celebration was now going to be a double date. Jennifer was disappointed that they would not be able to spend the evening alone. As the pair got ready for dinner at Mis en Place that night, Jennifer noticed that Victor was acting strangely. However, she was still surprised when Victor proposed in front of their friends who were able to capture the moment and provide stunning engagement photos.
