Maid of Honor
As my younger sister, Janelle was my first friend, softball teammate, and travel buddy. Whether we're traveling to North Dakota to knock off her 50th state or playing games, she always brings the fun! Her creativity is through the roof and some of my favorite times are enjoying her theme night dinners and parties. Janelle has the biggest heart, a few good Dad jokes, and I'm so thankful that she and Jill are my sisters!
Best Man
Meeting Jeff was a fortuitous happening of events. I was looking for a place to live, and a mutual friend told me about her friend that needed a roommate and thought that we would get along. Well it's safe to say that she was correct, as 15 years later he is now my best man. Not only did I luck into a great living arrangement, but a great buddy that helped me through my college experience, both educational and extracurricular.
Matron of Honor
Growing up as the youngest sister, Jill happily went along with whatever Janelle and I made her do, whether it was playing dress up or playing games in the backyard. These days we enjoy over-analyzing "The Bachelor" together and copying each other's clothes. Her intelligence, congeniality, and laugh make her a wonderful friend. She and Janelle are the two best sisters I could ask for and I look forward to every time the 3 of us are together!
Groomsman
Zach is a real man's man, a deep thinker and an outdoorsman. I bonded with him from the first time we met, although somehow I kept forgetting that it happened. (Let's just say he would have made a great spy). Over the years we have enjoyed each other's company over a few beers, a few hunts, and even a few Sonic burgers.
Bridesmaid
Lauren and I met in 2nd grade, making us lifelong friends! We played with Beanie babies growing up, which turned into soccer, and then softball. Although college and life took us states apart, our mutual love of the Oakland A's stays true. I admire her cake decorating and lady boss skills. We can have fun doing nothing and always pick up like no time has passed. She's one of the best friends you could ask for!
Groomsman
Jeff and I go back the furthest of anyone in my wedding party. We met on the grid iron and quickly became friends outside of school as well. After high school I disappeared off into college and he into the Navy, and sadly we didn't really keep touch during this time. But in 2012 I moved back to Austin and we were thankfully able to rectify that issue. Jeff is a friend that even though we hadn't seen each other in around 8 years, things picked up like we had never really missed out.
Bridesmaid
Lisa and I met at Safeway, both working in Analytics so I guess you could say Excel brought us together?! Luckily our friendship has lasted through job changes and a couple state moves. I can always count on her for advice, and her upbeat personality and sense of humor make her a joy for anyone to be around. I appreciate how she kindly pushes me to try foods I may not have tried otherwise and I'm so thankful she's part of my life!
Groomsman
Justin and I became friends quickly after I started my job at ConocoPhillips. Shortly after meeting, it turned out that we both were going to be down at the coast on the same weekend and we conspired to hang out. Well some things happened, some What-A-Burgers were eaten, and a small tropical storm later and we became lifelong friends.
Groomsman
What can I say about Dr. Christopher Copeland? Well, we as a group all decided to never call him any of those things. We sometimes call him Chris but we mostly just call him Cope, and we literally never refer to him as Doctor. Chris, while sometimes a little quirky, has a big heart, which is constant conflict with his big brain for control of his actions. We often butt heads and from the outside looking in, our friendship might confuse you, but he is a true friend and it wouldn't feel right to not have him here on our big day.
