Born in Nebraska, Paul now resides in Missouri. He graduated with two Associate Degrees in Machine Tool Technology, and Manufacturing Engineering Technology. He is now a Lead Piping Designer for a local engineering firm. Paul is passionate about his family and friends. He rarely misses any of his son's events because he is a firm believer in always being present for him. Some fun facts about Paul? He is into Star Wars Legos, and loves having friendly banter with Jennifer and Derek. Paul thoroughly enjoys making Jennifer huff when he points out a car or truck he wants!

Born in Texas, Jennifer has also lived in California, Kansas, and now Missouri. She graduated with her Masters in Counseling, and is now a Professional School Counselor at an elementary school in Kansas City, KS. Jennifer is passionate about her friends and family, and is obsessed with her 3 nephews! Some fun facts about her? You will rarely see her without her fingernails painted, she loves to spend money on creating memories, rather than material things. And much to Paul's dismay, she only likes her steak well-done. Oh, and if you've been in her life for a while, she has likely given you a nickname!

Brigit (AKA "Buddy" or "Friend") and Jennifer met early in their youth, but solidified their friendship in their early 20's. They have worked together, lived together, and supported each other through life's challenges. They have a "ride or die" kind of friendship. A friendship that is reliable, consistent, and unbreakable! Brigit knows Jennifer better than she knows herself. They often know what the other is thinking, and love to laugh together! Jennifer jokes that before she met Paul, Brigit was the best boyfriend she never had!
Mindy Thomas

Mindy (AKA, Cindy) and Jennifer have been friends since they were 12 years old! Jennifer "stalked" Mindy from their parent's adjacent backyards, until Mindy finally acquiesced and they became lifelong sisters. From the perils of Junior High, to High School, to College, to roommates after college, to creating their own families, their friendship has only grown more solid. Mindy and Jennifer consider their friendship to be as close as sisters. They bond over their sick sense of humor, and ability to speak truth into each other's lives. Allstars for life!
Crystal Clem Campbell

Crystal (AKA, Idiot or Dummy) and Jennifer met in high school, became fast friends and have been going strong ever since! Their quick wit and humor within the friendship get them through the best of times and the worst of times. Aside from humor, they are advocates for each other in life, always encouraging the other to be the best version of themselves. Crystal has an uncanny ability to light up a room, break out some dance moves, and make everyone present feel loved. Allstars for life!
Maya Orr

Maya (AKA, Myra) and Jennifer met their freshman year of college. They bonded over their love of Jesus, as well as breaking as many rules as possible at the small, private Christian college they attended. They roomed together their sophomore year, and enjoyed pranking people (or each other). Whenever Jennifer needs a good laugh, or a good cry, she can count on Maya to be there. Maya now resides in Montana, but the distance between them never matters. They always pick right back up where they were the last time they were together.
Kristen Hostutler

Kristen (AKA, Christian) and Jennifer met when Jennifer was 15 years old. Kristen was dating Jennifer's brother at the time, who she later married. Kristen is more than a friend to Jennifer, she is also the sister she never had. Their personalities may be quite different, but the love and support they share is unwavering. Kristen has been a supporter, encourager, and Jennifer's biggest cheerleader over the years. Kristen currently resides in Texas, but Jennifer thinks she can convince her and her family to move to KC. Well, in her dreams.
Jon Giittinger
Best Man
Jon and Paul met early in childhood, when Paul was in 3rd grade. During a wild time in their lives, they also worked together at Pamida. After losing contact for a bit during college, they reconnected again and have been close ever since. With Jon being in the military, they have always found a way to see each other when Jon was traveling the world. They have been there for each other during their darkest times and highest moments. Jon has taught Paul that he can no longer think of only himself when he has a partner, but to think about Jennifer in every move. Paul considers Jon a brother, and can't thank him enough for how much he has challenged him to be a better father, son, and friend.
Mike Oliver

Mike and Paul met when their sons were in 5th grade during football season. At first, Paul was intimidated by Mike. Despite being intimidated, Paul gravitated towards Mike because they were so like-minded. Mike challenges Paul to be better even if it is uncomfortable. They bounce ideas off each other to get a different perspective on life. Jon is someone Paul also considers as a brother, and who he can count on to be there when needed. Paul counts on Mike to challenge him to be a better man, father, and future husband.
Derek Wilson

As Paul's son, Derek and Paul met in November of 2007. Paul was smitten the first time he laid his eyes on Derek. The day Derek was born, Paul made a promise to him that he would be there for him no matter what, and he would always love him. Derek has taught Paul a lot about patience, empathy, and consistency. Paul's fondest memory of Derek was when Derek came to him for advice in a time of need. It really made Paul feel as though they had built a relationship of trust, and Derek could come to him about anything. Paul enjoys watching Derek become a man, and the friendly banter within their relationship.
Galen Hostutler

Galen has been stuck with Jennifer (or vice versa) since the day she was born! Galen is the Father of the Bride. When thinking about who to officiate their special day, Paul and Jennifer couldn't think of anyone more fit for the job. Galen will bring humor, wisdom, and spirituality to the ceremony. If you are confused as to whether or not he is joking in what he is saying, he likely is!
