What are the accommodation options?

Answer

We have listed out some hotel options on the travel page of this website. The hotels we listed are about a 5 minute drive from the venue. There isn’t a huge amount of hotels in the west end of Glasgow, but alternatively, you can stay in the city centre of Glasgow where there are the standard hotel chains – Premier Inn’s, Travel Lodges ect so there are a lot more options. Another option is to book an Airbnb, options are mostly in Finneston, Anderson and along Great Western Road. All of these are about a 10 minute taxi journey from the venue. If you want to share an Airbnb with other guests let us know and we can put you in touch. If you have any questions regarding accommodation please let us know.

Do you have a registry for gifts?

Answer

We are lucky that we have everything we need for our house therefore we do not have a registry for gifts. However if you would like to contribute to our Honeymoon/ house renovation fund that would be much appreciated.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our weddings isn't going to be too formal, we'd like people to feel comfortable. So, if you like to dress up please do. Equally if that isn't your thing casual wear is fine too.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

No, there is no parking at Cottiers. Parking in the west end of Glasgow is limited and is mostly 'Pay and Display' or there are residential permits in place. Therefore, we would recommend people use public transport to get to Glasgow. If you are taking your car, the nearest place to park which is free would be in Broomhill or Kelvindale.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony is due to take place at 2pm so please be seated at this time. The entire wedding from ceremony to evening dancing will take place within Cottiers. The ceremony will be in the 'Theatre' room of Cottiers.
