From playing flight attendants in the back of her mom’s car to building the most elaborate Barbie storylines to channeling the sassy-Alice-in-Wonderland flower characters, Maddy and Jennifer’s friendship has been steadfast, and for the last two years, they have had the incredible opportunity to live out their childhood dream of living together as roommates.

McKenna and Jennifer met in middle school, but truly became close friends in freshman year of college at UCSD, where they bonded over three-hour-long conversations at Café Ventana Dining Hall’s mac and cheese and ramen nights. Over the next few years, they would travel to San Francisco, attend many concerts, and eat over 50 bowls of Yogurtland in a Whole Foods parking lot.

Say hello to Ji-Hong, who Manué met in Cub Scouts, where their shared love for Star Wars and board games sparked a lifelong friendship. With a captivating sense of humor and a sharp wit, Ji-Hong has a talent for turning strangers into friends. His warm exterior is backed by a deep thoughtfulness, insatiable thirst for knowledge, and profound intellect. From their Cub Scout days to UC Berkeley, Ji-Hong’s example has always inspired Manué to be better as a student, friend, and man. Whether Ji-Hong is in California, Korea, or Chicago, Manué is always assured of his friend’s steadfast love and support.

Rachel was Jennifer’s first friend at UCSD, with the two meeting as roommates in Freshman year. They have shared so many momentous life experiences from moving into their first apartment, surviving a less than ideal roommate, walking across the graduation stage, and even planning and attending each other’s weddings together. Despite living on opposite ends of the state, the two make sure to catch up over their weekly phone call.

Introducing Michael, a devoted friend who lives by his mantra “brothers ‘til the end”. Manué and Michael became friends in middle school band class, where they bonded through a shared passion for video games. Michael's humility and dedication shines through in his actions, always ensuring that everyone around him feels included and loved. A talented chef by trade, you can find Michael testing new recipes, hosting a get-together, or leading the charge in his favorite video games. No matter what he’s doing, each of his friends know that if they call, Michael is always ready and willing to help.

The first time Jennifer met Annie was when she agreed to give her a ride to a Revelle dance in Freshman year and the moment Annie stepped in her car, she knew she wanted to be friends with her—she’s just so incredibly warm, caring, and gives the world’s best hugs. There’s no better dance buddy, coffee-date partner, and crazy Halloween make-up guru than Annie, and Jennifer cannot be more grateful that Annie didn’t have a ride that first night.

Al and Manué met in college, preparing to represent the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia in their Model United Nations team. A person with the only knowledge of history that Manué will admit surpasses his own, a source of expertise on virtually any topic, and a love for obscure references, they quickly became friends. Whether wandering the streets of New York City, exploring the Capitol, battling it out in a video game, or even waiting in airport security, Al makes every moment an adventure.

Victoria and Jennifer shared a room for the last two years of college and have plenty of lasting memories, but Jennifer knew she was a lifelong friend after she willingly agreed to spend a full day at Tokyo Disney Seas in a rainstorm and walk almost 30,000 steps to keep up with Jennifer’s endless enthusiasm, despite being soaked head to toe.

With an impeccable sense of taste, Nate's expertise spans from films to culinary delights, and he can effortlessly pair the perfect wine or cocktail with any occasion. Always up for a spirited debate or a thrilling adventure, spending time with Nate is a learning experience in itself. From binge-watching captivating shows to exploring uncharted territories, Nate's company guarantees an enriching and enjoyable time.

Few people get to have cousins that they are incredibly close with. Even fewer people get a cousin like Allie—a person whose enthusiasm makes you remember how much you loved being a kid and how you really never need to give up that side of you. Growing up with Allie meant nonstop laughs, dancing, and love—and for Jennifer, a little girl who could be quite shy, Allie brought her out of her shell more than anyone else in her life.

Introducing Grayson, an exceptional friend that Manué met in middle school band, where he was the star clarinetist, Manué not so much. With his quick wit, goofball personality, and brilliant mind, Grayson has a talent for bringing laughter to any situation, especially if it involves his uncanny voice acting skills. Whether immersed in virtual realms, surviving the ocean (don’t ask), or enjoying margarita mix, Grayson’s presence guarantees an entertaining time.

Jennifer didn’t have any older siblings, so her cousin Jessica was the closest she had to one. When Jennifer was seven, she went to Jessica to help choreograph her talent show dance (because to Jennifer, Jessica was the closest thing to a professional dancer). When the cousins made their infamous American Idol videos, Jessica was behind the camera hyping up each performance. And Jennifer is so grateful that she got to grow up alongside her.

Meet Anthony, fellow Boy Scout, one time boss, always friend. From Scouting adventures to ball games to professional growth, Manué has always been able to count on Anthony. Anthony's love for great food, excellent beer, and warm camaraderie always makes being his friend a very easy job. When he's not savoring life's flavors, you'll likely find him gliding gracefully on the ice, reveling in his passion for hockey.
