Things To Do

There is so much to do in both Greenville and Asheville. From bike paths, to scenic hikes, to craft breweries, and great live music. We hope you enjoy your visit to this amazing area we call home!

Falls Park on the Reedy

601 South Main Street, Greenville, SC 29601

Falls Park is a wonderful location right in the heart of Greenville. Grab a morning coffee and just enjoy people watching alongside the river bank, or go for a walk on the Swamp Rabbit Trail which extends out from the park.

Greenville Health System Swamp Rabbit Trail

Greenville Health System Swamp Rabbit Trail, Greenville, SC

The Prisma Health Swamp Rabbit Trail is a 28-mile multi-use greenway in Greenville, South Carolina, connecting Travelers Rest with the city, and is popular for walking, running, and cycling, with access to parks and downtown attractions. Some of our favorite stops along the trail are PKL, Unity Park, White Duck Taco, Pangaea Brewing, and Swamp Rabbit Cafe & Grocery.

Jianna

600 South Main Street, Greenville, SC 29601

Located in the heart of downtown Greenville, SC, overlooking beautiful Falls Park, Jianna features a modern Italian menu, freshly shucked oysters, artisanal spirits and wines that embrace the flavors of Italy and the United States. Chef Michael Kramer takes his inspiration from classic Italian cuisine and adds a creative twist to deliver a menu that is innovative and inviting. This is the spot where we took our engagement photos and cannot recommend enough sitting at the outside second story bar.

South Slope Brewing District

Asheville, NC 28801

This is our favorite area for brewing hopping in Asheville. You will never have to walk more than a minute to get to your next destination. Some of our most frequented spots are Burial, The Funkatorium, and Twin Leaf.

The North Carolina Arboretum

100 Frederick Law Olmsted Way, Asheville, NC 28806

The arboretum may be our most frequently visited place in the area! From there amazing gardens, to endless trails, this place always offers a great chance to get outside. Check out there arbor evenings for some live music as well!

River Arts District

Asheville, NC

Asheville is home to many amazing artists. This area was devastated by Hurricane Helene in 2024 but is committed to coming back stronger than ever. We highly recommend walking this area and popping into the many amazing art studios and coffee shops in the district.

Biltmore

Asheville, NC 28803

This historic home offers grandiose architecture and stunning gardens. While entry is a bit pricey it is certainly worth seeing once in your lifetime.

Sierra Nevada Brewing Co.

100 Sierra Nevada Way, Fletcher, NC 28732

This huge brewery compound has great beer, amazing tapas style food, and lots of space to explore.

Craggy Gardens Visitor Center

364 Blue Ridge Parkway, Black Mountain, NC 28711

Craggy Gardens is a great place to explore the beauty of the Blue Ridge Parkway. This locale will offer a variety of trailheads with sweeping views of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
