Lindsay and I met July 2023. We had both gone through some rough relationships and recent break ups. So weren’t expecting much at our first interaction. After several days of texting back-and-forth, I knew I had to meet Lindsay in person. It didn’t take me much convincing to get Lindsay to agree to a date with me. Lindsay was very adamant that she wasn’t looking for anything serious but I knew I just needed one date. Lindsay and I met up one day after work for Mexican food in Rushville. We sat and talked for over four hours in the booth. I can honestly say I did not want that date to end. When it was time to say our goodbyes, Lindsay asked for another date. I knew after that one single date that I was gonna marry Lindsay one day.
