This park has epic views of the river and mountains, lots of green space to pass the football or take a sunset stroll, and close enough to downtown Mission to grab a coffee on your way over.
We have so so SO much history here! Cultus is one of our favourite spots to go with friends or on a date. We love it at sunset, sitting on the dock and watching the stars come out and the house lights twinkle on the water...it’s worth the 30-ish minute drive (from Abbotsford).
This area is DREAMY. Twinkly lights, walking along the coffee shops and gelato cafes just off the water. Gives us San Francisco vibes with a slower pace. Not to mention the longest Canadian pier and the epic ocean floor walks when the tide is out!
This is our FAVE coffee shop as well as part of the location for our reception. Beautiful atmosphere, great location, awesome snacks and drinks. Check it out ahead of time and find your favourite drink :)
Another awesome coffee shop on the other end of town (just off the main highway and the Whatcom exit). Lots of space and great variety. Enjoy!
If you need a quick lunch and want a variety of choices, or you want to stock up on some fresh produce for your Airbnb, this market is Jen’s all time favourite place to hit up. Amazing staff and epic selection all around. Plus, some sweet country roads, awesome views, right off highway 11, and just down the road from the bird sanctuary and walking trails, as well as the candy shop in Old Clayburn Village.
THE. BEST. BREAKFAST. PLACE. It’s busy, but WORTH the wait! Affordable and delicious, tucked away near the river in Mission, BC.
This is the restaurant where we ate supper on our first official date in January 2019! Jen recommends the fish tacos and Levi loves the salmon burger. This is a must-visit!
Visit the Abbey and take a walk (about five minutes) down to a little lookout they have on their property. It’s beautiful and historic, and worth the visit if you have the time.
Another all time favourite restaurent, in historic and super cute Fort. Langley, home to a lot of memories and date nights (and - formerly - out favourite soup, though it was taken off the menu last time we went *still lots of epic options though!)
